Britain - Pilger: Partner In Terrorism

Brian O’Connell explains.

Pilger is using the terrorist attack as a weapon against Tony Blair in a way that is complementary to the terrorists, according to Pilger himself: they're both using terrorism to get the UK to disengage from Iraq. That's a low place to argue from, and why John Pilger is, in effect, a partner in terrorism. John Pilger needs the terrorists in order for his views to have any relationship to force at all and the terrorists need people like John Pilger to translate their application of force into real movement. Lever and fulcrum. Partners for change.

Be sure and read the updates and follow the links to what others think of Pilger.

Britain - al Qaeda Is Run From Here!!

That's according to terrorism expert, Neil Doyle.

Talking exclusively to the Sun Online, he said: "Al-Qaeda has pioneered the use of the Internet and it has a high number of computer specialists among its ranks. They are able to use a wide variety of methods to mask where they are operating.

"They are continually innovating and adapting to stay one step ahead of their pursuers.

"But they occasionally make mistakes. It's my understanding that the person considered to be al-Qaeda's master hacker is operating out of London right now.

"Britain is al-Qaeda's central communications hub and much of its online activities are co-ordinated from here.

"There are signs that the British security services are now pushing hard to close off their communications channels. Most of the best-known UK jihad sites went off the air on July 7 and that has now spread to the Middle East."

Now, I wonder if the BBC will include this startling revelation in their new program Jihad.com?

And Doyle claims they are leaving Britain and setting up shop in - America!

Although the vile sites have been hosted by companies in many different countries, the UK used to be popular with extremist groups, but security service tactics seem to have dealt with this.

Ironically, the US is now the country where most of these sites are hosted.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) says that it would be 'unconstitutional' and against the US constitution's First Amendment on freedom of speech if they were to pressure the hosting companies.

Frighteningly, Mr Doyle says, governments across the world face a seemingly impossible task in policing the Internet and admits: "It is a nightmare task".

One organization taking on that "nightmare task" is this one.

Islam - Parliament, Downing Street Next?

We are constantly being told that Islam has been hijacked by radicals. But listen to what ordinary Muslims say.

A friend of terror suspect Muktar Said Ibrahim today said he believed that Parliament and Downing Street were legitimate military targets.

The man, who would only give his name as Kawser and claimed to have known Muktar for two years, added he hoped the suicide bombers who died in the 7/7 attacks went to "paradise."

Islam hasn't been hijacked, this is what Muslims think.

"He would pray five times a day. At the time I wasn't a practising Muslim, but I became one about two months ago. He encouraged me to pray."

He added: "As a Muslim I believe it's one of the most honorable ways to die, defending your beliefs.

"You shouldn't do it because people will think you are brave, but for Allah. It depends on the situation, but if someone gave me a bomb and said 'Go and do it' I would have to consider it.

And he encourages others to do likewise.

"I hope the bombers go to paradise after giving up their lives as martyrs. All Muslims must engage in Jihad financially, physically and mentally.

He also thinks we are lucky.

"There's always going to be civilian casualties in a war. What we've seen this week is very lucky, the British public should feel very lucky that bombs are not being dropped on them like they are in other countries."

I guess we're also lucky we don't live in Thailand where Muslims are ethnically cleansing Buddhists.

And especially lucky we don't live in Bangladesh where Muslims are beheading Christian preachers.

Or, in Pakistan where Muslims burn Christian homes.

Or, in Holland where Muslims murdered and attempted to cut off the head of Dutch film-maker Theo van Gogh.

We are certainly lucky not to live in other countries where Muslim's persecute all other religions.

Sadly, these are but just a few examples of Islam's war on the world.

Now it would appear Britain's luck has run out and she joins a growing list of countries under attack by Islam.

Wake up people, wake up! Islam is your enemy, of that there can be no doubt.

Thailand - Muslims Behead Buddhist

More tolerance from the religion of peace.

The brutal slaying is the 11th decapitation since early June in Thailand's southernmost provinces bordering Malaysia.

At that rate there will be nearly 100 by years end.

But you see, if America and Britain would just get out of Afghanistan, Iraq and solve the Palestinian problem, Muslims would stop persecuting other religions - right?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

America - "The problem is Islam."

Bravo for Michael Graham standing up to Muslims.

The show host touched off the flap during a discussion of the Muslim community's response to recent acts of terrorism. Graham suggested the fault lies with Muslims generally because religious leaders and followers haven't done enough to condemn and root out extreme elements. "The problem is not extremism," Graham said, according to both CAIR and the station. "The problem is Islam." He also said, "We are at war with a terrorist organization named Islam."

CAIR denounced the comments yesterday as "hate-filled" and "Islamophobic" and asked its members to contact the station's advertisers to express their dismay.

Note how the Washington Post sucks up to CAIR by describing them as "an Islamic civil rights organization". CAIR's ties to terrorism are well documented.

Graham refuse to be intimidated by CAIR and had this to say:

"Today, Islam has whole sects and huge mosques that preach terror. Its theology is openly used to give the murderers their motives. Millions of its members give these killers comfort. The question isn't how dare I call Islam a terrorist organization, but rather why more people do not."

Absolutely spot on! Good for Graham standing up to Muslims and the terrorist front CAIR.

And it's good to see people in Australia are waking up too.

You can send Graham an email of support here.

Britain - Religious Bias at the BBC?

Biased BBC gives us this gem.

The BBC's Radio Times TV guide this evening has a good example of BBC think:

Abroad Again in Britain BBC2 7:00pm - 8:00pm

Salisbury Cathedral Salisbury Cathedral boasts the highest spire in Britain. Jonathan Meades, who was raised in its shadow, returns to one of the country's finest medieval buildings. He wonders how an atheist can love a building dedicated to the propagation of medieval superstitions and fears.

Can you imagine that last sentence being used to refer to, say, a mosque or a temple or a synagogue? No, me neither.

Islam - "The Enemy We Treat Like A Friend"

Roger Simon points us to an article by Oriana Fallaci. Here is some of part one.

"Now, I ask myself: “What do you say, what do you have to say, about what happened in London?” They ask me face-to-face, via fax and email; often scolding me because up until now I have remained silent. Almost as if my silence were a betrayal. And each time I shake my head and murmur to myself: what else should I say?!? I’ve been saying it for four years--that I fight against the Monster that has decided to eliminate us physically and, along with our bodies, to destroy our principles and values. Our civilization. For four years I’ve been talking about Islamic Nazism; about the war against the West; about the death cult; about European suicide. About a Europe that is no longer Europe, but Eurabia, and that with its feebleness, its inertia, its blindness, its servitude to the enemy is digging its own grave. For four years, like another Cassandra, I’ve been shouting until I’m hoarse “Troy is burning! Troy is burning!” and I despair of the Danaids for whom, like Virgil in the Aeneid I weep for a city entombed in its torpor. [A city] that, through its wide-open doors receives fresh troops and joins complicit parties [inside]. For four years I’ve been repeating to the wind the truth about the Monster and its accomplices; that is, the accomplices of the Monster who, in good or bad faith, open wide the doors--who, like [those] in the Apocalypse of John the Evangelist, throw themselves at his feet and allow themselves to be stamped with the mark of shame.

I began with “The Rage and the Pride.“ I continued with “The Force of Reason.“ I followed [those] with “Oriana Fallaci Interviews Oriana Fallaci,” and “The Apocalypse.” And in each one I preached, “Wake up, West! Wake up!“ The books, the ideas, for which in France they tried me in 2002, accusing me of religious racism and xenophobia. For which Switzerland asked our Minister of Justice to extradite me in handcuffs. For which in Italy I will be tried for vilifying Islam; that is, for an offense of opinion. (An offense that carries a sentence of three years in prison; none of which will be served by the Islamist caught with explosives in his cantina)."[...]

Part 2 is here.

All of this applies to Britain as well. Britain has already adopted Islamic mortgages, is planning on allowing Muslims to claim up to four wives for tax purposes, the PM's wife won the right for Muslim girls to wear the hijab to shcool and now Britain wants to make it a crime to criticize Islam. How long before Britain becomes an Islamic state?

Britain - The New Al-Qaeda: jihad.com

After its hugely popular "The Power of Nightmares", in which the BBC claimed that world wide terror networks, such as al Qaeda, are a "fantasy", "myth" and "illusion", The BBC now claims they do exist after all.

In the aftermath of 9/11 and the US-led invasion of Afghanistan much of al-Qaeda's infrastructure including its training camps were destroyed. Peter Taylor's three part series examines the new al-Qaeda which has emerged and the threat it poses to the West. The first part, jihad.com explores how the internet has become the lifeblood of the new al-Qaeda.

Just to refresh everyone's memory, The BBC claimed world wide terror networks were a "fantasy" created by American neocons so they could restore "their power and authority". Here is what The BBC said in "The Power of Nightmares".

In the past our politicians offered us dreams of a better world. Now they promise to protect us from nightmares.

The most frightening of these is the threat of an international terror network. But just as the dreams were not true, neither are these nightmares.

In a new series, the Power of Nightmares explores how the idea that we are threatened by a hidden and organised terrorist network is an illusion.

It is a myth that has spread unquestioned through politics, the security services and the international media.

Seems trains and buses weren't the only things blown up by Muslim terrorists on 7/7 - The BBC's credibility was too. What little they may have had.

Australia - Islam is the Enemy

Is the world finally waking up the threat of Islam? Read the entire article carefully.

Sorry for quoting you at length Andrew, but your message is important to get out.

But the London bombings, perpetrated by home-grown Muslims, makes our silence on such issues not a sign of civility, but suicide.

So let me admit that the past few days have been terrible for those of us who thought we could count on Muslim leaders for real help against the Muslim extremists who threaten us.

Such setbacks we've had.

Only last week I'd praised Sheik Fehmi as a good man, who'd condemned the London bombings. But a day later he was asked about fellow Melbourne sheik Mohammed Omran, a friend of a suspected al-Qaida boss, who'd claimed September 11 was really the work of a US-based conspiracy.

"He is entitled to his own thinking," Fehmi replied meekly. Then, asked if Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaida terrorists had committed those attacks, he added: "We cannot say. We do not know these things."

How can Muslim leaders fight terrorism, when the most moderate of them won't condemn even bin Laden, or admit that monster's self-confessed guilt?

Fehmi was not my only disappointment. I checked the IISNA site this week, and among the announcements of classes and prayers found this advice to a reader who'd asked if it was a sin to kill non-Muslims:

"In regard to non-Muslims who are at war with the Muslims and do not have a peace treaty with the Muslims or are not living under Muslim rule, then Muslims are commanded to kill them, because Allah says . . . 'Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you, and let them find harshness in you.' "

If that's advice passed on by a "moderate" Islamic group, what must the radical ones here say?

Well, we know that, too. In a Melbourne bookshop run by Omran a Herald Sun reporter this month found books being sold that command Muslims to ready for war and to hate Jews.

In Sydney last week, the Islamic Bookshop, Australia's largest of the kind, was found (again) selling similar poison near the Lakemba mosque, including a book with tips on how to blow yourself up and kill plenty.

Yes, yes, yes!! Finally, people are waking up! Everything Bolt says here is happening in Britain and all over the world. When will they wake up?

Andrew goes where most fear to tread.

Again and again we're told such things aren't typical. Apologists, too often Muslim converts with little clout among ethnic groups, claim Islam means peace. But again and again we are left feeling like dupes.

The genuinely charming Waleed Aly, of the Islamic Council of Victoria, goes on 3AW to tell us the radical Mufti of Australia, Sheik Taj el-Din el-Hilaly, who has praised suicide bombers as "heroes" and called the September 11 attacks "God's work against oppressors", is not a big worry because he represents no one. Aly says he doesn't even know who made the man a mufti, our highest ranking Islamic cleric.

But the truth, Waleed, is that your own council voted to make Hilaly the Mufti in a decision of the Federation of Islamic Councils of Australia. Why won't you sack him?

Everywhere disappointment. Hilaly's spokesman, Keysar Trad, soothes us with false claims that the Mufti is misquoted and is a proud Australian, but he turns out himself to have been a translator for the Islamic Youth Movement, a pro-bin Laden group whose leader, Bilal Khazal, now faces terrorism-related charges in Sydney.

We also find Trad has written articles with lines such as: "The criminal dregs of white society colonised this country (Australia) and . . . the descendants of these criminal dregs tell us that they are better than us."

Faced with such evidence whichever way I turn, what else can I think about Islam -- or Arab Islam, at least -- but that it is an enemy of our culture, our society? And I ask: How did we come to let in the extremist preachers of such a hostile creed?

Absolutely spot on!

What an unholy recipe: First we build a vulnerable underclass of unassimilated people with a religion of rejection. Then we let loose on them imported radicals preaching a hatred of our society; teachers who instruct them in the shame of our history; and multiculturalists who pay them to keep their distance and retain their much nicer ways.

ALL this always was foolish. Now we see it was dangerous as well, since British-born Muslims bred in a similar stew of multiculturalism, ethnic enclaves and Islamist extremism, have gone to war.

If you didn't know Bolt was talking about Australia, you'd think he was describing Britain.

Bolt has some suggestions for Australia but they apply here equally as well.

First, we must be more wary about the dangers of importing cultures that clash with the one that has built this free, rich and democratic society.

Second, we must ban mosques from hiring imams from overseas, or at least those who preach race hate or damn democracy. If Islam does mean peace, let only peace be preached.

And, third, we must show more pride in this country, and switch our multicultural cash from funding division to building unity.

After all, the duty of government is to make one nation out of many tribes -- and not the deadly reverse.

But Islam does not mean peace, it means submission.

I wish Andrew had gone further and called for the reformation of Islam, which is the ultimate answer.

Egypt - police hunt six Pakistanis

It's maybe too early to tell if Pakistanis were responsible for Egypt's latest terror attack that killed 88 people. But if this pans out, Pakistan's claims that Britain needs to look to itself for answers for the terrorist attacks on London, will look pretty hollow and it will be Pakistan that needs to do some answering.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Iraq - Pennsylvania Doesn't Support the War

That's according to Gov. Ed Rendell.

Responding to the scandal of "Lt. Gov. Catherine Baker Knoll's uninvited appearance at the soldier's funeral and her criticism of the war in Iraq," Rendell had this to say:

"It's not the business of state government to support the war, but our state supports the men and women who are fighting this war," Rendell said during an appearance in Mt. Washington.

I'm sure this will come as a shock to the "more than 1,000 Pennsylvania National Guard members currently serving in Iraq. The total of 3,200 will make the largest contribution of National Guard troops in the nation, according to the state Department of Military and Veterans Affairs."

I had an idea of what Bush meant when he said either your with us or your against us but I had no idea it might include Americans, especially American state Governors.

How does Rendell's statement here square with this farewell to Pennsylvania's National Guard troops on the occasion of their deployment to Iraq.

"All 4,000-plus of you are liberators," Rendell said. "Liberators in the sense that what we're doing in Iraq is to try to bring democracy to people who have been enslaved."

And it's not just a case of the "state" supporting the war, it's more a case of "[Lt Gov] Knoll also told Kubiak "that the (state) government was against the war."

So, how do you suppose a Pennsylvania National Guardsmen feels, away from his normal job and family, in a war zone and fighting not just for Iraqi freedom but for America's as well, knowing that if he his killed defending his country and state, that an anti-war protest by his state's government awaits him?

How do you suppose he feels knowing that as a "liberator" trying "to bring democracy to people who have been enslaved", it's "not the business of [his] state government to support the war" and thereby his efforts?

You cannot be against the war and for our troops at the same time. That's like saying you're against the medicine but you support the doctor. It's nonsense.

America voted for war and is at war, Rendell's statement to my mind, borders on treason and is certainly subversion.

Islam - The Left Awakens to the Danger

It's fascinating to see what wakes the Left up from their long sleep of denial.

In Britain, the fact that the Muslim terrorists who attacked London, were British born and bred has shocked some on the left into questioning Britain's multicultural approach.

In America, the murder of over 3,000 innocent Americans didn't do it for the left. The Democrats used the deaths of their fellow Americans to attack the Republican President.

Now, strangely, after the Muslim terrorists attack on Egypt, the Democrats have suddenly woken to the danger of Islam.

Senator Dianne Feinstein spoke in the wake of Saturday's bombings in the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, where 88 people were killed, and the July 7 attacks in London, where 52 people and four suicide bombers died. A new attack in London failed Thursday.

"I think until the mosques in the Muslim world and the imams in the Muslim world in a major way issue fatwa after fatwa denouncing jihad and denouncing terror that we're not going make any progress," the California Democrat told CNN.

"I don't see many, if any, major imams throughout all of the Muslim countries coming together and saying: Enough of this. Stop. This is not Islam. You know, we object to it," she said.

"Until there is something like an excommunication that would take place in the Catholic Church where, if you are going to engage in this thing, do not frequent our mosques, you don't see this," Feinstein said.

She added: "What you see in many places is that the mosque becomes an enabler one way or another."

Exactly!

Islam - Tough Questions for Muslims

One Muslim asks some tough questions of herself and that's refreshing but her answers leave a lot to be desired and are disturbing.

But most of all, the London bombings rid me of all patience with the excuse that "George Bush [or Tony Blair or take your pick of Western leaders] made me do it." We don't know who was behind Thursday's explosions, but an Arab analyst told a satellite channel that if Blair hadn't learned the mistake of the Iraq war, these new attacks were a firm reminder.

Yes, WE do. Mona was writing a good article up until this point. Why the denial that British Muslims were behind the terrorists attacks? And why does she refer to them in the classic BBC way as merely "explosions" instead of Muslim terrorist attacks? Clearly "The July 7 London bombings did it for me" statement is a bit overblown Mona. If you had said "The July 7 London terrorist attacks by British Muslims did it for me", I would be more understanding. The fact that you didn't shows that you, and probably most Muslims have a long way to go.

"It is at least in some way bigoted to think that Muslims can only react violently."

Not if you can prove it.

Muslims are ethnically cleansing Buddhists in Thailand.

Muslims are beheading Christian preachers Bangladesh.

Muslims burn Christian homes in Pakistan.

It was Muslims who murdered Dutch film-maker Theo van Gogh who was shot, stabbed and his head almost cut off for criticizing Islam.

Muslim's persecute all other religions.

These are just but a few examples of Muslim violence against us infidels committed by Muslims around the world everyday.

Muslims preach hate and intolerance everyday in their mosques. Literature found in American and Australian Mosques advocated violence against Christians, Jews and homosexuals. As you said yourself Mona, Islam does not mean peace, it "actually means submission".

Your use of the bigot card is just another attempt to portray Muslims as the victims. Sorry, I don't buy it. Reading Mona further shows why you shouldn't either.

We all must ask a host of difficult questions. How about beginning by acknowledging once and for all that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is not a Muslim issue? It is a dispute over land that too many clerics and religious leaders, radical or otherwise, use to flesh out the victimized-Muslim scenario
.

Here Mona is asking you not to believe what the Koran, Muslims most perfect word of God book, says. The Koran tells Muslims to convert or kill the unbelievers where ever you find them. The Koran also tells Muslims not to take Jews and Christians as friends. No Mona, how about beginning by having Muslims admit that the Israeli-Palestinian is decidedly an Islamic problem, specifically a Koran problem? Then maybe we can get somewhere.

But rather than dwelling endlessly on these issues, we would do well to spend time encouraging our young people to become more active members of their communities and to not live caught between two worlds: a Muslim one at home and in the mosque, an "infidel" one outside.

Tell it to the Palestinians who raise their kids to hate Jews and become suicide bombers. We did not create those two worlds - Muslims did. Reform your Koran so it doesn't teach hate and intolerance.

The fact that Mona is asking these questions is refreshing, the answers however, are disturbing.

Islam is not being hijacked by a few militants or radicals; Muslims such as Mona are the radicals for daring to ask questions. Muslim violence and terrorism will not end until Islam is reformed. When Muslims start that process we will know we are on the road to victory in the war on terror.

UPDATE

Add this to the list of Muslim violence against Christians, Mona.

Christians face jail for giving treats to children of Muslims

And from the same article:

About 10,000 Christians were killed in Indonesia between 1998 and 2003 and about 1,000 churches were burnt down by Muslim mobs, according to campaigners. Although religious conflict has eased in recent years campaigners say that about 100 churches have been closed down in the past five years in West Java.

Please note that those 10,000 Christians killed were killed before Iraq.

Who's the bigot here Mona?

Islam - The End of Multiculturalism?

Mark Steyn notes that Britain's homegrown terrorists may signal the end to multiculturalism. Sadly, it may be too late for Britain.

For four years, much of the western world behaved like Bryant. Bomb us, and we agonise over the "root causes" (that is, what we did wrong). Decapitate us, and our politicians rush to the nearest mosque to declare that "Islam is a religion of peace". Issue bloodcurdling calls at Friday prayers to kill all the Jews and infidels, and we fret that it may cause a backlash against Muslims. Behead sodomites and mutilate female genitalia, and gay groups and feminist groups can't wait to march alongside you denouncing Bush, Blair and Howard. Murder a schoolful of children, and our scholars explain that to the "vast majority" of Muslims "jihad" is a harmless concept meaning "decaf latte with skimmed milk and cinnamon sprinkles".

Until the London bombings. Something about this particular set of circumstances - British subjects, born and bred, weaned on chips, fond of cricket, but willing to slaughter dozens of their fellow citizens - seems to have momentarily shaken the multiculturalists out of their reveries. Hitherto, they've taken a relaxed view of the more, ah, robust forms of cultural diversity - Sydney gang rapes, German honour killings - but Her Britannic Majesty's suicide bombers have apparently stiffened even the most jelly-spined lefties.

We shall see.

Be sure and read the whole article.

Islam - Why The Left is Delusional

Here are two answers.

First Dr. Sanity

What we see in the delusion that "terrorism does not exist", is a desperate attempt by the Left to explain-- in terms they can understand, their own fall from power and influence in the world. They would rather believe this illusional "nightmare enemy gives so many groups new power and influence in a cynical age - and not just politicians"; rather than to deal with the fact that they no longer have the power and influence they once had, prefering to believe that it has been stolen away from them by vague conspiratorial forces.

Additiionally, they unknowingly demonstrate the typical cold grandiosity and arrogance of the true paranoid, by asserting that their own superior intellect allows them to see beyond the obvious facts that we mere mortals must deal with.

Too true.

Next CQ

The media, especially the British media who keep haranguing Tony Blair about causing the London bombings as a price for liberating Iraq, need to start adding two plus two and quit getting three for an answer. AQ operations point to a long-term strategy of isolating and crippling Middle East governments that (a) oppose radical Wahhabism and (b) operate in a secular manner that maintains ties to the West, especially Israel. That is the scope of the war Islamists have fought for twenty years under different banners -- Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, and now al-Qaeda. They want to seize power by force, cast a Taliban-style tyranny over the entirety of Southwest Asia and North Africa (to start), and bring the infidel world to its knees through the control of petroleum.

Why, four years after 9/11, does the media and the Left still fail to grasp this? Could it be because acknowledging this fact requires a stark choice to either fight or surrender, and they would prefer to create a fantasy through sophistry to allow them to simply go AWOL instead?

The left would rather live under the black flag of Islamic tyranny than to fight.

America - Fred Phelps Revisited

The leftoids had a field day with my first post about Fred Phelps. They didn't like it one bit when I lumped him in with them.

They liked it even less when I proved he was one of them.

Now, from Michelle comes news that the left have abandoned all pretense of condemning Phelps.

The family of a Marine who was killed in Iraq is furious with Lt. Gov. Catherine Baker Knoll (a Democrat) for showing up uninvited at his funeral this week, handing out her business card and then saying "our government" is against the war.

Rhonda Goodrich of Indiana, Pa., said yesterday that a funeral was held Tuesday at a church in Carnegie for her brother-in-law, Staff Sgt. Joseph Goodrich, 32. She said he "died bravely and courageously in Iraq on July 10, serving his country."

In a phone interview, Goodrich said the funeral service was packed with people "who wanted to tell his family how Joe had impacted their lives." Then, suddenly, "one uninvited guest made an appearance, Catherine Baker Knoll." She sat down next to a Goodrich family member and, during the distribution of communion, said, "Who are you?" Then she handed the family member one of her business cards, which Goodrich said she still has.

"Knoll felt this was an appropriate time to campaign and impose her will on us," Goodrich said. "I am amazed and disgusted Knoll finds a Marine funeral a prime place to campaign."

You can complain to the Governor here.
