A recent poll in Time magazine showed Bush's approval rating climbing to 53%, up 4%.
The left and the Democrats often accuse Bush of being a divider but it seems the public think otherwise.
Public perceptions of the president's personal strengths are his biggest asset today.
Nearly two-thirds of those polled described Bush as likable, strong and intelligent. A majority said he is dependable and honest.
You can bet that is a large majority, otherwise AP would have shown you the exact figure.
