Immediately after the London terrorist attacks, the BBC described them as terrorists and a terror attack. But as soon as it emerged that the terrorists might be British Muslims, The BBC went back and stealth edited their online articles and replaced terrorists with bombers and described the attack as merely a bombing.
Shortly thereafter, the BBC carried an online "key facts" article about the British Muslim terrorists. The article has been updated several times but it never has and still does not contain the words, "Muslim", "terror", "terrorist" or "terrorists".
Now comes this BBC article with the headline "No proof bombers Muslims - Bakri".
The BBC are quite happy to give Bakri a platform without challenging any of his remarks.
Islamic cleric Omar Bakri Mohammed does not believe the London bombers were Muslims, he has told BBC News.
The UK-based Syrian-born preacher said there was no evidence four young Muslim men filmed at a station prior to the attacks were responsible for the bombs.
While the BBC provides a sidebar with links to prove otherwise you have to hunt for the information. For example, here is a link to the BBC's "key facts" article with the evidence that seems to elude Bakri. Why not mention this in the main article?
Nowhere in the article does the BBC challenge Bakri on whether the terrorists were Muslim or not, despite conclusive proof that all the terrorists were British Muslims.
And despite Bakri's well documented words the contrary in the past, the BBC let Bakri's words today go unchallenged.
But said he believed Islam forbade Muslims to fight the people they lived side by side with.
"To live among them, and sell with them and deal with them and trade with them and then fight them, that is completely not Islamic."
What the BBC don't tell you is that Bakri declared war on Britain back in January of this year.
LONDON, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Muslims living in Britain are facing two choices; either to migrate or to join the jihad, a key Islamic figure has said.
Sheikh Omar Bakri Muhammed, leader of the now officially disbanded Islamic militant group Al Muhajiroun told United Press International Saturday that as the covenant of security under which Muslims previously lived in Britain has been broken, Muslims must now consider themselves at war.
He called on Muslims to form a new coalition united behind al-Qaida with Osama Bin Laden as their leader.
Not only did Bakri declare war on Britain, he even told us just two months ago that a Muslim terrorist attack on London was planned. See here.
Several Islamic militant groups are preparing attacks on London, making such a strike unavoidable, a radical Muslim cleric said in an interview published Sunday.
"It's inevitable. Because several (attacks) are being prepared by several groups," Sheikh Omar Bakri Muhammad told Lisbon's Publica magazine from London where he is based.
He added: "We don't make a distinction between civilians and non-civilians, innocents and non-innocents. Only between Muslims and unbelievers. And the life of an unbeliever has no value. It has no sanctity."
Notice Bakri says "we".
Bakri even boasted that he knew the terrorists were already prepared to carry out the terrorists bombing on London.
One "very well organised" group in London calling itself al Qaeda Europe "has a great appeal for young Muslims", he said. "I know that they are ready to launch a big operation."
Remember that was in April this year, and just two months later Muslim terrorists indeed launched a terrorist strike on London.
There is a reason security services around the world refer to it as Londonstan.
