Britain - Why British Born Terrorists?

The Spectator has some answers.

Britain’s self-loathing is deep, pervasive and lethally dangerous. We get bombed, and we say it’s all our own fault. Schools refuse to teach history that risks making pupils proud, and use it instead as a means of instilling liberal guilt. The government and the BBC gush over ‘the other’, but recoil at the merest hint of British culture. The only thing we are licensed to be proud of is London’s internationalism — in other words, that there is little British left about it.

Compare that to America where, every classroom displays an American flag and the pledge of alligence is recited everyday, most peoples homes, cars and clothing sport American flags and the 4th of July is one of the most revered holidays, not as a victory celebration over Britain, but as a victory for freedom. Where did America get such patriotism and devotion to freedom? Britain.

This confuses British Muslims. If they want to assimilate with the mainstream, they find that their government is supporting those who want separate uniforms, separate tax codes, separate inheritance laws to permit division of property to more than one wife, and ban on nudity in advertising near mosques.

On top of that, Britain has allowed Muslim clerics to preach hate against Britain and openly delcare war on her.

Elders many of whom do not speak English well even though they have lived here for decades maintain their strict customs. Perhaps more so as they regard the society here as alien, immoral and corrupting for their children.

While the parents of British Muslims are telling them not to integrate because British society is "alien, immoral and corrupting", Britain is busy appeasing Muslims and enacting Islamic law. Meanwhile, "The BBC, the Guardian and the Metropolitan Police promote groups like the Muslim Association of Britain, even though it openly supports terrorism (just not in Britain). "

All of which would explain this: The New York Times reports "...only 33 percent of Muslims said they wanted more integration into mainstream British culture." Why would they? We are already well on the road to an Islamic nation.

And we have to ask why British Muslims would want to attack Britain?
