Britain - BBC: Worst Ever Viewing Figures

Is our campaign to expose the institutional bias and deep rooted anti-American and anti-Israeli reporting at the BBC having some success?

Viewing figures for BBC1 are heading towards an all-time low - but it's nothing to worry about, according to the man in charge. He just puts it down to the odd number of the year.

Peter Fincham, the channel's controller, claims that its current audience share of 21.4 per cent - almost five per cent down on last year - has nothing to do with the quality of its programming and almost everything to do with the calendar.

Yes, he actually said that.

Here is a chart of the dwindling BBC viewership.

And this is on top of last year's declining BBC viewers.

Figures published tomorrow will show that the BBC's audience share has fallen to its lowest level for years. Industry body Barb (the Broadcasters' Audience Research Board), will report that the BBC's overall share of viewers dropped from 38.3 per cent in 2003 to 36.62 per cent in 2004, a fall of just under 4.5 per cent.

Now we have another 5% decline and at that rate the BBC will have lost all viewers in a few short years. Unless the BBC is completely gutted of its leftist, anti-American and anti-Israeli staff, the downfall could excellerate.
