Iraq - Thousands Demonstrate Against Saddam

Does this mean Saddam didn't really win his last election by 100%?

BASRA, Oct 21 (KUNA) -- Thousands of demonstrators in the province of Dhi-Qar in south Iraq took to the streets after Friday prayer demanding swift execution of the former Iraqi tyrant Saddam Hussein.

The domonstration took place in the provincial city of Nasseria, led by a chief cleric, who headed the proceedings as the crowd of demontrators meandered around the streets of the city, witnesses told KUNA by phone.

The chief cleric, Muhammad al-Nasseri, spoke to the crowds, saying that a speedy trial of Saddam Hussein would satisfy millions of Iraqis who suffered excruciatingly from the brutal policies of the former strongman.
