US - EXPANDED U.S. WIRETAPPING POWERS UPHELD

Three years ago!!

While the New York Times and the BBC fall all over themselves trying to play up the NSA non scandal, it turns out the courts have already decided the wire taps were legal and constitutional.

The court's ruling said that expanded powers to wiretap those suspected in foreign terrorist operations – including U.S. citizens – outlined in the U.S.A. Patriot Act do not violate the Constitution.

Now, how's that investigation into the leaker going?
