US - Farris Hassan's Story Fake?

I and several other bloggers raised this issue two weeks ago. I emailed Michelle Malkin and Instapundit at the time but neither picked up on the story. Now, finally, Michelle has picked up on it. Will the blogsphere pick up on it and reveal how MSM were duped - again?

What stands out for me, is that once again, all it took was the slightest of fact checking to expose some weakness in his story. But, just as in the fake FBI investigating a college kid for checking out Mao's little red book, MSM just couldn't be bothered to check out the facts.

And when MSM aren't checking the facts of a story, they're faking stories.

All of which helps explain why they're losing readers by the droves.
