Europe - Wiretapping, European-Style

Here's one reason Europe is silent on the Democrats attempt to create a scandal out of the NSA wire tap program.

I suspect another reason is most Europeans, like most Americans, not only approve of wire taps but would be surprised if their intelligence services weren't doing it.
