Iran - BBC's contract with the devil

While most Western governments are calling for and the UN considering, santions against Iran over its nuclear arms ambitions, the BBC has decided to promote Iran for tourists.

"The publicity campaign will be in the form of advertisements introducing cultural, historical and development attractions of Iran," said Deputy Head of ICHTF for Cultural and Communication Affairs Alireza Sajjadpour.

Talking to IRNA, he referred to BBC, CNN, Germany's ZDF, al-Jazeera and al-Arabia as the international TV networks selected for introducing the tourist sites.

"We have signed a huge agreement with BBC," he added. He, however, declined to cite the contracts' details.

Since Iran's President has called for Israel to be wiped off the map, I'm guessing Israelis and all Jews need not apply.

Not one to waste time promoting terrorists, the BBC already has this page linked to on its main webpage.

This fits in with the BBC's hiring the editor and chief of al Jazeera to train its reporters.

More and more the "C" in BBC is looking like a crescent moon.
