US - "CAIR: Islamists fooling the establishment."

Here in the UK, the media, led by the BBC want you to believe that the Muslim Association of Britain (MAB) is the moderate voice of Muslims. This despite MAB's links to terrorism.

In the US a similar group CAIR, is given the same treatment by the media. Again, this despite CAIR's well documented ties to terrorism.

Powerline takes a look at the latest study on CAIR.

Perhaps the most obvious problem with CAIR is the fact that at least five of its employees and board members have been arrested, convicted, deported, or otherwise linked to terrorism-related charges and activities.

A right-wing group similarly linked to, say, white-supremacist criminals, would never hear the end of it. And it would never, ever, be mentioned in the media without that fact being brought up.
