US - Why didn't they protest?

After last weekends failed anti-war protest, the folks at Indymedia were bummed out and wanted to know why all most no one turned out to protest. So they put up a survey and solicited email responses.

Tim Blair has condensed their responses. Here is just a sample:

“The walk from available parking is long.”

“other stuff to do all day ...”

“I was baking all day Friday and Saturday.”

And my favorite:

“Honestly, I just plain forgot.”
