UK - BBC: "wretched journalists"

That's what the head of the BBC’s new journalism college calls BBC journalists. I couldn't agree more.

THE head of the BBC’s new journalism college has outraged former colleagues on the Today programme after describing them as “execrable”.

Kevin Marsh, editor of Today during the Gilligan affair, penned a bitter article for the BBC’s in-house journal, Ariel. Appointed first editor of the college designed to improve BBC standards, Mr Marsh wrote that he was now free to consider BBC reporting without “wretched journalists getting in the way”.
