The caption of the second picture seems to indicate that the AP is paying attention to bloggers complaints about staged photos. They reissued the photo with this new caption after bloggers started to question the photo.

The civilians and children in this photo are lucky the Israelis didn't respond with a tank round. Then again, that's probably what the Palestinian terrorist wanted to happen.
