Lebanon - Phototgate widens

Michelle has several posts up with links, photos and video of the ever widening scandal surrounding the reporting coming out of Lebanon. See here, here and here.

Reporters from major news organizations have admitted that their reports are controlled by Hezbollah. Hezbollah takes them where Hezbollah wants to take them and shows the reporters only what the terrorists want them to see.

We now know that photos have been doctored and staged.

The media is the deadliest weapon the terrorists have and their using it to great effect. Hezbollah knew the left wing media would be on their side and play along - and they're doing just that.

UPDATE

Here's a transcript of CNN's Nic Robertson explaining how Hezbollah is stage managing the media war in Lebanon. Read the whole thing but here is a snippet.

What I would say at that time was, it was very clear to me that the Hezbollah press official who took us on that guided tour — and there were Hezbollah security officials around us at the time with walkie-talkie radios — that he felt a great deal of anxiety about the situation. And they were telling him — I just listened to an explosion going off there, coming from the southern suburbs. They were — they were telling him — a second explosion there. They were telling here — rumbling on — they were telling him get out of this area, and he was very, very anxious about it.

But there's no doubt about it. They had control of the situation. They designated the places that we went to, and we certainly didn't have time to go into the houses or lift up the rubble to see what was underneath.

And the left wing media puts out what Hezbollah wants them to put out.

UPDATE

Here's CNN's Anderson Cooper detailing how Hezbollah is staging the "news".

Cooper exposed for CNN viewers that the sight of speeding ambulances, sirens blaring, was just a phony play staged by Hezbollah: “One by one, they’ve been told to turn on their sirens and zoom off so that all the photographers here can get shots of ambulances rushing off to treat civilians....These ambulances aren’t responding to any new bombings. The sirens are strictly for effect.”

CNN showed cameramen from other news organizations dutifully photographing the ambulances as they went by.
