UK - Islam: BBC stuck on stupid

While many in the media are starting to drop the political correctness surrounding Muslim issues, the BBC proves once again that it is stuck on stupid.

Muslims 'must head off extremism' was the original headline for this BBC article which now reads "Ministers to meet Muslim leaders". Notice how the BBC shift the blame for combatting Muslim terrorism from Muslims back onto us. While the rest of the world is waking up to the danger of being PC concerning Muslims issues, the BBC stays stuck on stupid.

I guess I was still asleep when I wrote about the BBC report at 9 am this morning because I forgot to take a screen shot of it. Not to worry though, here's a screen shot of a Google search for the original BBC headline. I guess the editor showed up at 9:30 and caught the "mistake".



UPDATE

Looks like I'm not the only one who was still asleep. While the BBC editors may have caught their "mistake" and fixed the headline for the story, they forgot to change the headline on the BBC's main webpage where, as of this writing, the BBC headline still puts the blame on Muslims: "Muslims 'must head off extremism'" Here's a screen shot. Look on the right side bar under "Ohter top stories".
