'Iraq al-Qaeda' makes call of desperation

Which begs a question.

"More than 4,000 emigres and many more of the supporters of righteousness [Iraqi insurgents] have given their blood to Iraq," the speaker says.

It also calls for explosives experts and nuclear scientists to help launch non-conventional attacks on US bases, using biological or radialogical weapons, so-called "dirty bombs".

Here's the question. If we're losing in Iraq, as the left wing media, including the BBC, says, why the need for such a call? Why the need to kidnap people to negotiate? If you're winning there'd be no need for this, right? Why the call for WMD attacks unless you're losing the conventional war?

This tape, along with a recently captured al Qaeda letter, proves they are losing. The letter is a catalogue by Zawahiri of Zarqawi's failures in Iraq. This latest tape by al-Muhajir proves he is not up to the job either.

UPDATE

Here's an important part the BBC left out. Natch.

"We are in dire need of you," said the speaker, who identified himself as Abu Hamza al-Muhajir..."

"We are in dire need of you..."

Now why do you suppose the BBC left that part out?

And as CQ points out:

The NIE was correct. If we fight and prevail in Iraq, these terrorists will have been completely discredited. We have engaged them in Iraq and have all but wiped them out. The only way to beat the Islamists is to fight them where they stand, and we have done that in Iraq -- and even Masri has to admit it.
