UK - Fear of terrorsim halts terrorism research

File this under which came first the chicken or the egg.

Research councils today confirmed they have put on hold their involvement in a government-backed project that aimed to identify the growth of Islamist groups around the world.

The decision by the Economics and Social Research Council and the Arts and Humanities Research Council followed accusations by academics that they would be putting the lives of British researchers at risk in Muslim countries.

Hey! How come the MAB, MCB, CAIR and other Islamofascists groups are not up in arms over this Islamophobia remark? Surely these people would be safe in the lands where the religion of peace and tolerance rule. What are these people trying to say, Muslims are terrorists?

Muslims should be outraged and demand that the government force this research to continue.

Imagine saying that these people wouldn't be safe in Muslim countries! That's outrageous.

Now, if they were Danish cartoonists I could understand the fear.
