UK - The veil stretches our tolerance to its limits

Mrs Azmi's unreasonable demands, coupled with Jack Straw's bold comments about the intimidating aspects of the full-face veil, have forced the British public to think carefully about the presence of Muslim ghettos and Islamic fundamentalists in our society. A clear conclusion has emerged. As a nation, we feel that our tolerance is being stretched to the limit.

It's looking like the veil has become the tipping point here in Britain.

The British government's disasterous multicultural policy coupled with tolerance of radical Muslim preachers of hate has led to rampant Muslim appeasement and made Britain the terror capital of the West.

The Muhammad cartoons and the resulting Muslim rejection of free speech, sparked a sea change in Britains attitude toward Islam. The government began to reject the so called moderate Muslim groups such as the MAB and MCB. Then, Blair, Straw and Lord Stevens dropped the politically correct statements and began to cofront Muslims. The veil it would seem was the last Straw.

Now the government should step in and stop the construction of London's mega mosque.

Next, a way must be found to get rid of London's mad mayor and the disgraceful George Galloway. And Blair must follow through on his promise to deport the imams of hate as well as stop uncontrolled immigration.

Last but by no means least, the terror supporting BBC must be brought to heel.

Then we will be making solid progress here in Britain in the war on terror.
