US - BBC: Sex scandal will backfire on Democrats

So says the BBC's Washington reporter, Justin Webb.

I don't like Webb, well to be fair, I loathe the entire BBC due to its far left wig bias. But I'm glad to see the BBC agrees with me that the Foley sex scandal is backfiring on the Democrats - though not for the reason Webb points out. The Democrats have a long history of sexual misconduct and possibly the worst case in history was Clinton having oral sex with a young intern in the White House.

You get an insight into Webb's bias with this tid bit:

"Before the last presidential election I remember someone saying that by the time Karl Rove had done his work no-one would know who's side John Kerry fought on in the Vietnam war; at the time it seemed implausible but..."

As if Rove had anything to do with John Kerry's record which speaks for itself.

Kerry met twice with the North Vietnamese in France while still in the US Navy, Kerry's own records prove he was no where near Cambodia as he claims, and the Swift Boat veterans acted on their own. The Democrats, hypocritical as usual, tried to smear the Swift Boat vets while at the same time promoting their own Swift Boat vets.

John Kerry's "Winter Soldiers" were proven to be fakes; none had been to Vietnam and many hadn't even been in the military.

As for Webb's and the BBC's anti-American bias, this will give you an insight.

"America is often portrayed as an ignorant, unsophisticated sort of place, full of bible bashers and ruled to a dangerous extent by trashy television, superstition and religious bigotry, a place lacking in respect for evidence based knowledge.

I know that is how it is portrayed because I have done my bit to paint that picture, and that picture is in many respects a true one."

You and the entire BBC, Webb.
