US - Foleygate could backfire on Democrats

Pretty much everything the Democrats do blows up in their face and it wouldn't surprise me if Foleygate does as well. Why? Because everyone will dig up the old dirt on the Democrats. Dirt like this. Note that some of these politicians are still serving.

The last name on that list, Rep. Mel Reynolds (D-Ill.) deserves special attention. Here's why.

"An ex-congressman who had sex with a subordinate won clemency from a president who had sex with a subordinate, then was hired by a clergyman who had sex with a subordinate."

Clinton, a Democrat, pardons a Democratic congressman who had sex with a 16 year old campaign volunteer. The moral high ground is pretty low for the Democrats.

So, let the Democrats try and make political hay out of this. What goes around comes around.
