US - The Sandy Berger mystery

I've never understood why why Berger got off so light. The documents he admitted he stole and shredded were of the highest classification. If a Republican had sone such a thing the left wing media would still be hounding him. But since Berger is a Democrat, the left wing media would rather you forget about it.
