Few adults in the United States believe a recent scandal involving a lawmaker will affect their vote, according to a poll by Zogby International released by Reuters. Only 22 per cent of respondents think the Mark Foley case will have an impact on how they cast their ballot.
That's probably because, as sleasy as Foley was, there doesn't appear to have been any crime committed and Foley promptly resigned. Unlike the Democrat Studds, who had sex with an underage page and refused to resign. Much like President Clinton who stalked a young intern and had oral sex with her in the White House and refused to resign.
