US - Ellison "Muslims can help teach America about justice"

Really? You mean like in Iran where they hang gays even if they are underage? Or like in Saudi Arabia where Christians and Jews are persecuted? Or like how Islam treats women as inferior to men?

I think Ellison has it backwards. America can teach Muslims a lot about justice, it's why so many of them come to America in the first place.

So, what's Ellison's agenda?

The convention, which ends today, drew more than 3,000 Muslims from across the country for an event aimed at revival and reform. It featured workshops and panels on a range of topics from civil rights to politics to how to spread Islam in the United States.

That's what this is really all about.
