BBC responds to furore over Wikipedia editing

and the republic respond back. Read the comments.
Number 4 hits the nail on the head.

After being caught leaving out any mention of the BBC's 7,000 edits, the BBC edited the original story to include this lame line.

"BBC News website users contacted the corporation to point out that the tool also revealed that people inside the BBC had made edits to Wikipedia pages. "

Here's my original post on the subject.

I was at a funeral yesterday and didn't have time to check out much of what the BBC's 7,000 edits were about but I remember two. In one edit a BBC employee replaced Bush's middle name, Walker, with Wanker and in another changed the word terrorist to freedom fighter.

The BBC has a long history of supporting terrorists.

The Telegraph exposes the BBC's hypocrisy.
