BBC - Aiding and abetting the enemy

EU Referendum has a long detailed post regarding the BBC's aiding and abetting the enemy. Something I've been saying for quite some time.

He ends the article with this:

As my colleague Christopher Booker recently remarked, the BBC has now beome a national disgrace. In many ways, it is more dangerous and more dishonourable than Goebbels’ "Germany calling", the war-time propaganda radio station from Nazi Germany.

At least then it was known to be propaganda whereas the BBC, relying on its past reputation for objectivity and impartiality, is still able to fool many people into thinking that it is still a respectable broadcaster. It is no longer that. Instead, to use the words of Lt Col. Tim Ryan, currently stationed in Iraq, it is "aiding and abetting the enemy" (see also our post on Fallujah).

We are grateful to all the sites which have been pointing this out for so long, to say nothing of Lord Pearson and Global Britain, and for those currently helping us to do likewise. And we apologise to our American friends whom we trust now realise that the BBC does not represent anything other than itself.

Melanie Phillips wrote a blistering piece on the BBC.

This systematic abuse by the media is having a devastating impact in weakening the ability of the west to defend itself against the unprecedented mortal threat that it faces from the Islamic jihad. People cannot and will not fight if they don’t understand the nature or gravity of the threat that they face, so much so that they vilify their own leaders while sanitising those who would harm them.

Yet that is what is happening. Public debate in Britain is now marked by a collapse of objectivity, truth, fairness and balance. Logic and morality have been stood on their heads. Victims are portrayed as oppressors, while mass murderers have to be understood and sympathised with. The outcome is an ugly and dangerous climate in which prejudice and lies have achieved the status of unchallengeable fact; a climate which is now being eagerly manipulated by terrorists who know that if they ratchet up their barbarism and distribute the video the result will merely be an ever greater public clamour for Tony Blair to split away from President Bush and shatter the coalition in defence of the free world.

The public has been grossly misled by the British media, and falsehoods have become accepted as fact, so much so that any statement of actual facts which undermine this mindset are excised from the debate altogether.

Islam has declared war on the west and the BBC has chosen which side it is on.

We need more bloggers, here and in the US, to take on the BBC. I have emailed some of the high profile bloggers in the US in an attempt to get some help.

Bloggers in the US exposed CBS's attempt to steal the US elections and brought down Dan Rather. We can do the same with the BBC if we can get more people involved.

If you have a blog or start one to expose the BBC and papers like the Guardian, you might want to put a "media complaints" section on your blog roll to make it easier for your readers to complain.

They are taking back their media in the US and we can do it here. But we need to do it before it is too late.
