NEW YORK (AP) -- The U.N. oil-for-food program chief under scrutiny for alleged corruption and mismanagement blocked a proposed audit of his office around the same time he's accused of soliciting lucrative oil deals from Iraq, according to investigators.
Legacy media are anxious to report on this scandal now that the bloggers have reported on it for almost two years.
I guess it's too much to expect an apology for blaming the US for causing thousands of Iraqi deaths due to sanctions when we now know it was the UN's fault.
