Britain - Muslims To March Against Terrorism?

I'll get to that in a minute but first there's this.

Muslim' anguish' over London bombs

The Muslim Council of Britain has expressed "shock and anguish" that their youth may have been involved in the London terror attacks.

Secretary General Iqbal Sacranie pledged the council's "absolute commitment" to bringing those responsible to justice.

He said in a statement: "We have received terrible news from the police with anguish, shock and horror.

"We believe our youth are said to have been involved in last week's horrific bombings against innocent people.

One of the terrorists is over 30. Sacranie is trying to tell you that these were just misguided youths gone astray.

And remember Sacranie is the one who told us Muslim terrorists do not exist.

'There is no such thing as an Islamic terrorist. This is deeply offensive. Saying Muslims are terrorists would be covered by this provision'. [Britain's proposed religious hate law]

Then there is this:

Massoud Shadjareh, chairman of the Islamic Human Rights Commission, said: "The criminality of anyone should not be associated with their nationality, ethnicity or religion.

"That sort of association is totally unjust and xenophobic and can create a great injustice by promoting prejudice that could fuel further violence against innocent people.

"A criminal is a criminal, is a criminal, full stop."

He just can't seem to say terrorist, can he? These are not just criminals who are using harsher tactics, these are Muslim terrorists trying to impose Islam on us all.

As for association, please tells us Shadjareh why are all the terrorists Muslims?

And as for "promoting prejudice that could fuel further violence against innocent people", why does Islam persecute all other religions, especially Jews?

Now for the protest march.

Earlier, the Muslim Council of Britain said it was considering a plan for a national demonstration of protest against the terrorists behind the London bombings. The inter-faith event, which has yet to be agreed, would involve marches in the capital and other cities across the UK.

If the march goes ahead it will be interesting to see how many turn up and how many are Muslim. A similar protest march earlier this year in America attracted only about 50 people including on lookers. That march was shunned by all major US Muslim groups.

One thing is for sure, there won't be any posters of bin Landen calling him a terrorist or a non-Muslim and calling for his arrest. In fact, you won't see any Muslim terrorists condemned by name.
