Britain - The Guardian Surrenders to Terrorists

The Guardian claims we are responsible for the Muslim terror attacks on London: "The responsibility we share for Islamist shock and awe"

There can never, ever be a justification for murdering innocent men, women and children - never!

Is the Guardian claiming that the Muslims who were murdered in those attacks share some responsiblity for their own deaths? What kind of lunacy is this?

This is why Muslim terrorists bombed London. It's articles like these in the Guardian, the treasonous rantings of George Galloway MP and London's mad mayor, Red Ken, putting out propaganda for the Muslim terrorists, that show Britain weak and ripe for attack.

Here is how the Guardian gives aid and comfort to the enemy. Note this repugnant moral equivalancy.

To many of us, the attacks seem especially evil. No warnings are given. The bombs are deliberately targeted at large numbers of civilians. They kill young and old, Muslims and non-Muslims, Blair voters and Blair opponents. (Not that bombing Dresden, Hiroshima, Hanoi or Baghdad was all that discriminating either).

You would have preferred Germany and Japan to have won then, Wilby? It's pretty clear by now whose side Wilby and the Guardian are on.

Here is another card trick people like Wilby and the Guardian try and pull - rewrite history.

A section of the Islamic world believes the west is waging war on it, that this war has intensified with the invasion and occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq, and that it could intensify further with an invasion of Iran. It's no use saying the 2001 attack preceded those invasions. As far as many Muslims are concerned, it went on for most of the 20th century. Arabs were expelled from Israel in the 1940s; Israel occupied the West Bank from 1967; the first Gulf war took place in 1991 and, to Bin Laden's rage, led to US troops polluting sacred Saudi soil.

What Wilby wants you to forget is that the Arabs were expelled after they attacked Israel, Israel occupied the West Bank as a security buffer against further attacks, the first Gulf War was in reaction to Saddam's brutal invasion of Kuwait (which Wilby also fails to inform you, stopped at Iraq's borders) and the US was in Saudi in support of liberating Kuwait (Muslims) from Saddam. Note Wilby's use of the term "US troops polluting" Saudi soil.

Wilby also fails to inform you that the US left Saudi after the war and gave Kuwait back to the Kuwaitis.

Not content with this disgusting display of Muslim terrorist apologizing, Wilby goes on to defend Muslim suicide terrorists.

How do you prosecute a war against the US and Britain? Muslims fight us on their own soil, but why should they not carry the fight to our homelands as we carry it to theirs? They do not possess the aircraft to fly over Washington and London and carry out "precision bombing".

You can't get any plainer than that, Wilby is justifying suicide terrorists. Wilby is saying that the US and Britain should be bound by the Genevea conventions but terrorists shouldn't. Sheer lunacy.

This part shows Wilby's ignorance and why his ignorance is dangerous.

Most importantly, Muslim warriors may think, bombing western civilians gets results: the things that make it horrible to us make it more effective in their eyes (shock and awe, perhaps) and if there are enough such outrages, we will demand a retreat from Iraq.

Notice how Wilby calls them "Muslim warriors". In his haste to defend Muslim terrorists, Wilby forgets to tell you that Iraq is not the key to Britain's safety.

The Times points out that Zawahiri's tape proves Iraq is not the key to keeping Britain safe.

Al-Zawahiri did not claim responsibility, but he did set out specifically al-Qaeda's terms for stopping its terrorist campaign, namely that coalition forces should pull out of Iraq, Afghanistan and "the land of Muhammad" (the Muslim world), stop buying oil from the Middle East and stop supporting the region's "corrupt rulers".

This is significant because it suggests that pulling troops out of Iraq alone would not be enough to avert further violence. It also suggests that the West's struggle against al-Qaeda is not going to end any time soon.

You can let Wilby know how you feel by emailing him here: peter.wilby3@ntlworld.com

Keep it clean and civil but let him know how his propaganda is endangering Britain.
