Ditch Holocaust day, Muslim advisers urge Blair
ADVISERS appointed by Tony Blair after the London bombings are proposing to scrap the Jewish Holocaust Memorial Day because it is regarded as offensive to Muslims.
So is Christmas, will it be next? Already councils around the country ban the phrase "Merry Chirstmas" from christmas cards and replace it with "Holiday Grettings" or something similar.
Bibles are banned in Saudi Arabia because it is offensive to Muslims and now they seek to ban things they feel offensive here. Where does it end? I find Muslims offensiveness to our western cultural offensive.
The recommendation, drawn up by four committees including those dealing with imams and mosques, and Islamaphobia and policing, has the backing of Sir Iqbal Sacranie, secretary-general of the Muslim Council of Britain.
Note the "Sir" - more Muslim appeasement by Blair. And you may recall it was Sacranie who proclaimed Muslim terrorists don't exist. And he wants a law to make a crime to say so.
He said: 'There is no such thing as an Islamic terrorist. This is deeply offensive. Saying Muslims are terrorists would be covered by this provision'.
Heavens (oops) knows we must not offend Muslims.
Those unfamiliar with Sacranie and the Muslim Council of Britain, would do well to get a copy of the BBC's "A Question of Leadership", which exposed him and the MCB. The show was so good, Sacranie tried to get it banned and when that failed he put pressure on those in the program to pull out. Thankfully he failed. In the program, Sacranie defends his boycott of the last Holocaust memorial.
Another voice whispering in the PM's ear is Ahmad Thomson, from the Association of Muslim Lawyers, who says:
Tony Blair decided to wage war on Iraq after coming under the influence of a "sinister" group of Jews and Freemasons, a Muslim barrister who advises the Prime Minister has claimed.
Here's what he says on the Holocaust:
Mr Thomson wrote a book in 1994 in which he said Freemasons and Jews controlled the governments of Europe and America and described the claim that six million Jews died in the Holocaust as a "big lie". In The Next World Order, Mr Thomson, a Muslim convert who was born Martin Thomson in Rhodesia, wrote: "When the majority of people in a predominantly Christian society cease to worship God, the result is fascism.
And
He also wrote that the Jews have no right to live in "the Holy Land" because they are not a pure race and therefore not the true biblical Israelites and that Saddam was used as an excuse for US troops - "including thousands of Jews" - to occupy Saudi Arabia.
I bet that'll come as a shock to the Saudis who don't even know they are being occupied by "thousands of Jews".
What does the government say about all of this?
A Government source said: "It is by talking to people with varying views that we find out what the range of opinions is. It doesn't mean we agree with what they are saying."
Then why is Sacranie given a Knighthood? Why are they even considering a seperate memorial day to appease Muslims? And have you seen any radical Muslim clerics expelled from the UK as the government promised almost a month ago.
Ministers want to see the young foreign imams swiftly thrown out of the country. How they manage the fast-track expulsions will be seen as a test of Tony Blair’s assertion that the rules have changed.
I'd say he's failed but that would depend on what your definition of "swiftly" is.
It's not just the Prime Minister's ear Muslims are whispering in. Remember, it was Blair's wife who won the court case that granted Muslim girls the right to wear the hijab in Britain's schools.
There was no need for the 7/7 Muslim terror attacks on London - they're already winning from the inside out.
