US - Platic turkeys can't die

And seemingly neither can reporting non-existing plastic turkeys.

Despite the New York Times retraction, many reporters still erroneously report that Bush used a plastic turkey during his visit to Iraq.

The New York Times:

"An article last Sunday about surprises in politics referred incorrectly to the turkey carried by President Bush during his unannounced visit to American troops in Baghdad over Thanksgiving. It was real, not fake."
