UK - One in 11 British Muslims backs terrorism

The Daily Mail reports. Lots of disturbing information in this report, not the least of which is, Britains failure to understand the true nature of the threat - jihad.

"With 1.6million Muslims living in the UK, nine per cent is the equivalent of 144,000 people supporting terrorism. "

So, what's the government doing about it?

Note that's an "extra 70 million". That money would be better spent purging the jihadists from our Universities and media, like the BBC. It could also be used to deport the jihadists preaching in the UK mosques.

This centres on persuading Muslims that the covenant of security that in return for safety and freedom, Muslims do not attack the nation that is their home - has been broken by draconian anti-terror laws and the war in Iraq."

Did you catch that? The UK had a security covenant with Muslim terrorists to provide them safe haven here if they didn't attack the UK! That's why the world dubbed Britain's capital "Londonistan".

This, and the Mail's faulty link to anti terror laws and Iraq, demonstrate Britain's and indeed the West's failure to understand jihad. At some point the jihadists mission to convert the world to Islam, would make them break the covenant and begin attacking Britain. That point would be when the jihadists felt that Britain was ripe for such an attack. Having infiltrated our Universities, media and having joined with the left, the jihadists felt the time had come. Judging from Britain's reaction since the 7/7 Muslim terrorists struck, they were right.

Six months prior to the attacks, the BBC ran a report that al Qaeda was a "myth" an "illusion". After the attacks the BBC mounted a concerted campaign to protect the jihadists. John Simpson called them misguided criminals and al Qeada the resistance. The BBC then aired a program to guage the public's reaction to the Muslim terror attacks. The BBC stacked the program with Muslims 5 to 1 against non Muslims.

Sadly, until Britain and the rest of the West realize the true nature of jihad, there will be more attacks.
