US - Wikipedia 'shows CIA page edits'

Wow! This must be big news.

"On the profile of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the tool indicates that a worker on the CIA network reportedly added the exclamation "Wahhhhhh!" before a section on the leader's plans for his presidency. ...

Other changes that have been made are more innocuous, and include tweaks to the profile of former CIA chief Porter Goss and celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey. "

I'm underwhelmed.

The BBC goes on to list more organizations editing Wikipedia but some how manage to leave out that the BBC itself edits the online encyclopedia - 7000 times!! The guy who runs the scanner site has stopped the searches for what has been edited due to too much traffic. Too bad, I bet the BBC has a team re editing their previous edits to cover their tracks.
