US communists say with Obama their time has come

This AFP report has this clanger:

"There is no communist running for the White House and the Communist Party does not endorse Democrat Barack Obama."

In fact, the Communist Party of America has endorsed Obama publicly.

You could make a strong case that Obama proves the first part of that statment wrong as well.
