AI states those numbers as fact without reference to where they came from - and for good reason. Here's why.
"Palestinian doctors say 879 Palestinians have been killed since the Israeli offensive - to stamp out rocket fire by Gaza militants - began on 27 December.
Norwegian doctors in Gaza's main hospital said about half the casualties they have seen are civilians. Thirteen Israelis - 10 soldiers and three civilians - have died during the offensive. "
No mention of how you can tell a civilian from a terrorists wearing civilian clothes. So just who are these Norwegian doctors? Mads Gilbert, that's who.
"When asked if he supported a terrorist attack against the US he answered: "Terror is a poor weapon, but my answer is yes, within the context I have mentioned."
So, the numbers come from Palestinian doctors and the civilian numbers come from Gilbert, an admitted hater of Israel and America.
Who runs AI anyway?
"AI is most vocal in its attacks on America over Guantanamo bay. AI’s Secretary General, Irene Khan, referred to Guantanamo prison as the “gulag of our times” and has co-authored a book titled “America's Gulag: Full Spectrum Dominance Versus Universal Human Rights”. In addition, AI produces “education packs” made available to schools to promote their agenda. In one such pack, school children are taught how to dress up in orange jump suits similar to those worn by prisoners held at the prison. This despite the fact that many prisoners at the prison openly admit they carried out acts of terrorism and boast they will do so again if released; some have already done so.
As Ms. Khan is a Muslim, her attacks on Israel come as no surprise."
