More Idiocy From the Moral Equivalency Crowd... from The Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler

Just in case you thought media bias and ignorance were limited to the SCBBC and Guardian, here is piece (more like pile of ...) in Newsday.

When you're done reading it, ask yourself, would you want Misha on your case? Ouch! Nice doggey, nice doggey.

In the Iraq war that the nonviolent King would never have approved,
Trying to give Mr. Edwards a run for his money in the "communing with the dead" department, Les?
...one is moved to consider the needless squandering of U.S. credibility and resources and the mounting loss of life.
No, one is not. Because one doesn't really give a good shit what france thinks about us when our safety is on the line.
There appears also to be a subtle corruption of the spirit of fair play, even under conditions of war.
Make that ESPECIALLY under conditions of war. You don't "play fair" in war, you "play" to win. Besides, no-one has yet defined what "fair" is when it comes to war, not even the Geneva Conventions which were only set up to try to put a civilized face on something that is, by its very nature, uncivilized.

If there WERE a "fair" way to wage war, we'd be engaging in it more often, not less. The very horror of it is what serves to keep us from doing so at the drop of a hat.

One might ponder the widespread gloating over the July killing of the two sons of Saddam Hussein, along with a 14-year-old and a bodyguard.
All four of which were actively fighting the forces come to arrest them. Well, not exactly. Uday and Qusay weren't fighting. They were hiding in the bathroom while the bodyguard and the 14-year-old were left to hold off the U.S. forces.

Read the whole thing, but be warned, not for the faint hearted. I never want this lady on my case.
