Mainstream media demonize public figures when they are caught lying. So, why the free pass for Wilson? Because Wilson was singing their tune.

Wilson is the father of the Left's motto: "Bush lied; People died", which mainstream media and the Left have been chanting ever since. The real chant is "Wilson lied; reputations died". But that is not mainstream media's tune and therefore you won't hear it.
