Katrina - Unemployment Disaster Assistance

The US Department of Labor has set up an unemployment disaster assistance program so people can get cash immediately and you don't have to be in your home state to qualify, which is great news for all those who have had to leave their home state.

They have also provided funds to the affected states so they can employ people in the clean up effort.
