Canada - BBC Fakes Kyoto Story

Michael Gill catches the BBC faking quotes in thier Kyoto story.

The BBC headline for the story is: "Canada turns climate focus on US" and it contains this quote:

“Canada's prime minister has urged the US to ‘listen to its conscience’ and take further steps to reduce emissions linked to global warming.”

Note the reference to the US with the quotes "listen to its conscience". Problem is, Canada's PM never said that in refernece to the US.

See Michael's post for the rest of the story.

See here for two of my posts on the BBC white washing Kyoto.

So, just how bad and widespread are fake stories in the media? This bad.
