Iran is "a kind of democracy"

That's according to the BBC's veteran gas bag, John Simpson.

Is it true that a handful of religious extremists holds the entire population of Iran in thrall?

No. Iran is, within narrow limits, a kind of democracy.

President Ahmadinejad won his election fairly, even though no-one who opposed the basic structures of the Islamic Republic was permitted to stand.

Yeah, that's some kind of Democracy there Simpson.

No surprise really. Simpson often cheeleads for the terrorists.

On top of that John Simpson calls al Qaeda the "resistance" and he called the 7/7 Muslim terrorists "misguided criminals".
