US - Baseball fans cheer Bush

MSNBC reports on how "two controversial figures receiv[ed] vastly different receptions from fans."

One is about how Bush recieved a standing ovation from baseball fans. The other is about how Bonds was booed over drug allegations. Other than baseball, what do the two stories have in common? Well, one is pro Bush and the other is, seemingly, anti-drug and that means the two occured in "Republican-leaning" cities - natch.

Is MSNBC saying the two cases would be reversed if they happened in "Democrat leaning" cities?
