US - CAIR loses another terror suit

Masquerading as Muslim civil rights group, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), was actually founded by and has links to terrorists.

Last month CAIR lost its terror suit against the website Anti-CAIR which had proved CAIR's links to terrorism.

"A $1.35 million libel suit filed by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) against Andrew Whitehead of Anti-CAIR (ACAIR), who called CAIR a “terrorist front organization,” that was “founded by Hamas supporters,” and was working to “make radical Islam the dominant religion in the United States,” has been dismissed with prejudice. According to ACAIR’s Mr. Whitehead, who posts at www.anti-cair-net.org, “I am pleased to report the CAIR lawsuit has been dismissed after the parties reached a mutually agreeable settlement.”

Terms of the settlement are confidential. However, no apology was issued, no retraction or corrections made, and the statements that triggered CAIR’s suit remain on the ACAIR website."

Yesterday, CAIR lost another terror suit.

RALEIGH, N.C. - A federal appeals court on Tuesday upheld the dismissal of an American Muslim civil rights group's defamation lawsuit against former U.S. Rep. Cass Ballenger, who linked the group to terrorists in a 2003 interview.

While thrown out on a technicality, in light of Anti-CAIR's victory, Ballenger would have won this one on merit as well.

The reason CAIR caved in on the Anti-CAIR suit was disclousure. Once CAIR realized they would have to open thier records to Anti-CAIR's lawyers, they caved.

CAIR's links to terrorist are well documented and several former employees are now in jail as convicted terrorists.
