It's also interesting how the BBC has found the "M" word for this article.
Muslims must do more to tackle extremism in their communities, they will be told by government ministers.
Communities Secretary Ruth Kelly has called a series of face-to-face meetings with Muslim leaders.
Along with Deputy PM John Prescott, she will say the terror threat will only be defeated if the country is united.
Police continue to question 23 people over an alleged plot to blow up transatlantic airliners, and searched a wood in Buckinghamshire overnight.
Tuesday's talks come after Cabinet members condemned an open letter from Muslim leaders calling for a shift in British foreign policy to stop the radicalisation of young Muslims.
Ministers will also go out into Muslim communities across the country, including in London and Birmingham where most of last week's arrests in connection with the alleged plot took place.
Didn't the government just tell us the other day that Muslim terrorism had nothing to do with one community in particular? Why the u-turn?
Of course the BBC highlight the governments assertion that the government has to do more to stop Muslim terrorism. Meanwhile, Muslim leaders inch closer to putting the blame where it belongs but they're not there yet.
Mohammed Sarwar, one of three British Muslim MPs who signed the open letter, said action had to be taken to stop young Muslims being targeted by fundamentalists.
He told BBC Radio 4's The Westminster Hour: "These fanatics who brainwash these young people and mislead them, we've been demanding that all those people who are distributing hatred literature in universities, in colleges, in front of the mosques, should be dealt with the full authority of law.
This is the old Islam has been hijacked by a few militants argument. The problem is much deeper than that and is rooted in Islam's preaching hate and intolerance to us infidels and our western ways as can be seen here.
But why has Britain become terror central? Search my blog for Londonistan for part of the answer and here's how it all began for Britain.
As this BBC article shows, Bush's recent speech and Blair's news conference in America, our leaders and governments are starting to put the blame for Muslim abuses and terrorism sqarely where it belongs - with Muslims.
Now, we need the US and UK governments to stop listening to what they call "moderate" Muslim groups like CAIR, the MAB and MCB. These so called "moderate" groups are nothing more than terrorist front groups. Search my blog for all three.
We also have to keep hammering the left wing media who support Muslim abuses and terrorism.
In a News of the World artilce, Lord Stevens said exactly what every politician should be saying.
When will they [Muslims] declare, loud and clear, with no qualifications or quibbles about Britain's foreign policy, that Islamic terrorism is WRONG?
Most of all, when will the Muslim community in this country accept an absolute, undeniable, total truth: that Islamic terrorism is THEIR problem? THEY own it. And it is THEIR duty to face it and eradicate it.
To stop the denial, endless fudging and constant wailing that somehow it is everyone else's problem and, if Islamic terrorism exists at all, they are somehow the main victims.
Damn right! And from the looks of the comments from the BBC's "Have Your Say" webpage on the issue, it would seem that many around the world agree.
Finally, it looks like a corner has been turned and the world is fed up with being PC and are putting the blame squarely where it blongs - on Islam.
We're making progress but we've a long way to go.
UPDATE
Is our hammering away at the left wing media having some effect? Did the final admission by our leaders that Islam is the problem, lead the far left wing Guardian to do a u-turn on supporting Muslim terrorists? Surely this is a turning point with the dropping of all this political correctness towards Muslims. Let's keep up the pressure until Islam is reformed and stops its abuses of women, gays, other religions and freedom of speech.
British Muslim leaders are entitled, along with everybody else, to raise questions about the conduct and consequences of Mr Blair's foreign policy. But they have a more immediate responsibility to promote the truth: that Britain is not the aggressor in a war against Islam; that no such war exists; that there is no glory in murder dressed as martyrdom and that terrorism is never excused by bogus accounts of historical victimisation.
Is the Left waking up to the fact that they can longer ignore Islam's abuses and adopt Muslims as their latest "victims"? Maybe. Don't wait for Galloway to drop his support for Muslim terrorists, they're the only thing that keeps him in office. Likewise, the communist led anti-war movement who need all the help they can get even if it comes from Muslim terrorists.
