UK - Military recruitment rising fast

Back in May I caught the BBC fabricating a story about UK Army desertions. Caught out, the BBC quickly stealth edited the article.

Then, last month the BBC were further embarrassed when they had to report UK Army recruitment was on the up. In an attempt to square the two, the BBC reported the cause of the recruitment rise was due to low unemployment. And yet just two days prior to the Army recruitment story the BBC reported on high unemployment is.

Now, the BBC reports on the rise in recruits from Wales.

Conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan appear not to be deterring recruits for the army from Wales, with numbers set to be higher than average this year.

The Army in Wales has said it is attracting its highest number of recruits in recent years.

Latest figures show recruitment is on course to hit 1,000 recruits by April. The annual average from Wales is 900.

Well, fancy that BBC, brave, patriotic Britons!! The Beeboid must be reeling! How does the BBC explain the rise in recruitment this time?

However they insist recruits in Wales sign up knowing the risks but do so because of the potential rewards from a career in the military.

You mean like, serving your country in a time of war, aunty?

Likewise, Canada's recruitment is up.

The US military has met its recruitment goal early for 14 months in a row.

Seems not everyone shares the left wings defeatist mindset.
