US - Terrorists probing our plane and train defenses?

A recent Muslim terror plot to blow up airplanes in Britain and a failed plot to blow up trains in Germany, prove Muslim terrorists still favor mass transit as a target. Not only does it kill many innocent people immediately, spread fear and panic in the public, but causes economic damage as well. And all it little cost to the Muslim terrorists. They don't count their lives so why should I?

Here's a report from the US about a bomb warning on a train. The perp says he was just joking but look at the chaos he caused. Joke, probing or intended disruption? We don't know yet.

Now, here's a more serious report of an exploding pipe bomb at a train station in the US.

This part of that story is worrying.

Bloom said the department has not ruled that man, or anyone else, out but said police don't have a good description of who may have left the bomb. There are no security cameras at the station, and nobody saw anyone place the bomb, he said.

Now, these two may be unrelated and the acts of morons, but we just don't know. Add to that the attempts in Germany and UK and it's clear we need to stay vigilant and beef up security.
