"Moderate Muslim" Applauds German Fear of Islam

Charles has the story.

UK - No prosecutions for Muslims

The Police in Britain will investigate a pigs head dumped outside a mosque and arrest anti-gay protesters but will not proseucte Muslims for their protest outside Westminster Cathedral.

US - 4 villages shun gift of free oil

Good for them.

Leaders from four Western Alaska villages have rejected an offer of free heating oil from a Venezuelan- owned company because that nation's president this month called President Bush "a devil" and made other inflammatory comments about the United States.

"Despite the critical need for fuel in our region, the Unangan (Aleut) people are Americans first, and we cannot support the political agenda attached to this donation," read a statement from Aleutian Pribilof Islands Association released late Thursday.

Iran mulled nuclear bomb in 1988

Seems Frances Harrison, the BBC's Tehran reporter is trying to get her bona fides back. Harrison, a Muslim married to an Iranian, recently blamed an Iranian airplane crash on US santions. This despite the fact that the plane was Russian and the cause of the crash was a burst tyre upon landing.

A letter from 1988 in which Iran's top commander says Iran could need a nuclear bomb to win the war against Iraq has come to light in Tehran. [...]

The letter seems at odds with Tehran's statements that Iran is not seeking a bomb because it is against Islam.

Iraq - Iraqi tribes fight Qaeda

Recently 25 of 31 Iraqi tribes promised to join the Iraqi government and coalition forces in fighting al Qaeda. Their delivering on their promise.

RAMADI, Sept 29 (Reuters) - Iraqi tribes who have vowed to take on al Qaeda captured five militants on Friday, including three foreign fighters from Yemen, police and tribal leaders said.

The five militants were captured without a fight in a car under a bridge in Ramadi, capital of Anbar province, police Major Salam Obeid said. Tribal leader Sheikh Sattar al-Buzayi confirmed the incident.

US - Muslim taxis refuse fares with alcohol

Pull their taxis license then. But they won't do that, will they?

Now the airports commission has a solution: color-coding the lights on the taxi roofs to indicate whether a driver will accept a booze-toting fare. The actual colors haven't been decided on yet, but commission officials met Thursday with representatives of the taxi drivers and the Minnesota chapter of the Muslim American Society to continue working on the plan.

UK - Thumbs up for Muslim school

How does this help integration?

But Cllr David Munkley (Lib: Haymill), commissioner for education, welcomed the news that the school is to go ahead.

He said: "It is only right that the Muslim community should have the benefits that the other communities in Slough have been granted.

"They are the only major group in the town without their own school."

Why should groups have their own schools? If we want integration, surely no one should have "their own school".

Iraq - Succeeding in Ramadi

More good news from Iraq MSM would rather you didn't hear about.

MacFarland said he is encouraged by the attitude of the people of the city. The people who were fence-sitters in the battle between the Iraqi government and al Qaeda in Iraq are stepping forward and cooperating with Iraqi security forces against al Qaeda, he said.

“I think al Qaeda has been pushed up against the ropes by this, and now they're finding themselves trapped between the coalition and (Iraqi security forces) on the one side and the people on the other,” the colonel said. “Now it's the al Qaeda forces that need to be worried about living in those neighborhoods. They stick out like a sore thumb. Everybody knows who the terrorists are.”

Local sheikhs are cooperating with the Iraqi government. Tribal leaders are steering new recruits to the police, and they are becoming more effective. MacFarland said that Iraqi police in Ramadi today intercepted insurgents driving a car loaded with rocket-propelled grenades. “The insurgents tried to run away,” he said. “(The police) chased them, and they killed or captured the entire group.”

US - Will Dean Destroy the Democratic Party?

I hope so.

The often critical cover story by Matt Bai is titled: “Is Howard Dean willing to destroy the Democratic Party in order to save it?”

Bai tags along with Dean on a trip to check out the party setup in, of all places, Alaska, then writes, “In just a few hours, Dean had nicely demonstrated why so many leading Democrats in Washington wish he would spend even more time in Alaska – preferably hiking the tundra for a few months without a cell phone.”

Ouch!

Even Hillary is against Dean.

Clinton, D-N.Y., who opposed Dean's ascendancy to the DNC post depite Sen. John Kerry's support, said Dean's long-term party-building efforts should take a back seat to fundraising for the midterm elections, Newsday reports.

"The [Republican National Committee] is pouring tens of millions of dollars into races and we're not matching that," Clinton said during a DNC fundraiser in Washington, D.C.

"We're doing investments, you know, in ground and other efforts which will be very beneficial, but the RNC has about $60 million to $70 million waiting to drop on our candidates," she said, according to Newsday.

US - Why you can't trust the left

Michelle writes an article critical of Charlotte Church's recent behavior. Then Wonkette and UNC law professor, Eric Muller, use a photoshopped image of Michelle in a binkin to cry hypocrisy. See here and here.

They disagree with Michelle but since they don't have any valid way to respond, they have to make stuff up. How lame is that? How low is that?

The good thing about all this is, it shows the left have to resort to lying and cheating since they have no ideas of their own. Further, since Wonkette is using fabrications in her reporting, what else has she fabricated and is possibly now fabricating?

Another leftist plan backfires.

France - Jihad in the classroom

Michelle reports.

"A French high school philosophy teacher and author who carried out a scathing attack against the Prophet Muhammad and Islam in a newspaper commentary says he has gone into hiding under police protection after receiving a series of death threats, including one disseminated on an online radical Islamist forum.

The teacher, Robert Redeker, 52, wrote in the center-right daily Le Figaro 10 days ago that Muhammad was “a merciless warlord, a looter, a mass-murderer of Jews and a polygamist,” and called the Koran “a book of incredible violence.”

The Redeker case is the latest manifestation in Europe of a mounting ideological battle that pits those who believe Islam and the Prophet Muhammad can be criticized in the name of free speech against those in the Muslim community who believe no criticism can be tolerated..."

Be sure and sign the petition. Sign here.

Here's what he wrote in full.

Note what he says of his current situation.

“I am now in a catastrophic personal situation. Several death threats have been sent to me, and I have been sentenced to death by organizations of the al-Qaeda movement. [...] On the websites condemning me to death there is a map showing how to get to my house to kill me, they have my photo, the places where I work, the telephone numbers, and the death fatwa. [...] There is no safe place for me, I have to beg, two evenings here, two evenings there. [...] I am under the constant protection of the police. I must cancel all scheduled conferences. And the authorities urge me to keep moving. [...] All costs are at my own expense, including those of rents a month or two ahead, the costs of moving twice, legal expenses, etc.

It's quite sad. I exercised my constitutional rights, and I am punished for it, even in the territory of the Republic. This affair is also an attack against national sovereignty – foreign rules, decided by criminally minded fanatics, punish me for having exercised a constitutional right, and I am subjected, even in France, to great injury.”

If we don't stand up against this growing problem, will we lose this war. All over the world there are examples of the media caving in to Muslims. Each time they see this as a sign of weakness in the West, which it is, and with each incident a new one is born. Things will eventually come to a head if the authorities don't protect their citizens and our freedoms.

US - Trouble for the Democrats

The detainee bill and the border fence bill both passed. This demonstrates the Republicans are tough on defense and the Democrats who opposed both look weak.

Add to that the wave of good economic news.

"A wave of positive economic news, capped by this week's run-up in the stock market and a continuing drop in gasoline prices, seems to be coming at an ideal time for Republicans worried about the November elections."

Iraq - Significant developments in Baghdad

As is increasingly the case, if you really want to know what's happening around the world, you have to turn to bloggers. Compare Wretchard's post and Omar's with the BBC's. Why are we forced to pay for the BBC?

US - Clinton won't like this

one bit.

If you think former President Bill Clinton has been in a sour mood, what with all the finger-pointing of late surrounding his administration's reaction (or lack thereof) to global terrorism, wait until he sees three television ads that will start airing in the coming days.

The group Move America Forward, based in Sacramento, Calif., says it's had enough of Mr. Clinton and his loyal lieutenants trying to "rewrite history" about the war on terrorism and goes so far as to call the former commander in chief "shameless."

Viewers also will be reminded that Mr. Clinton's national security adviser, Samuel R. "Sandy" Berger, was nabbed by security officials at the National Archives after he "stole and ate classified documents that exposed the failures of the Clinton anti-terrorism policies."

I'm not sure this is a good idea. Why re-fight an old battle? Better to focus on the issues of the day in my opinion. I'd say there's plenty of red meat to prove the Democrats of today are just as weak on defense as the old Clinton gang.

Darfur - This is why there is slaughter

The Telegraph explains.

Everyone wants "something" done but no want clearly states what that "something" is. The UN is usless and has been for many years and can do very little of anything much less "something".

Around the world people are indignant, snorting, well "something" should be done. The West should be ashamed of themselves for letting this genocide continue and should do "something".

Any time you hear that ask them to be specific; what is it exactly that you want done and how.

I watched a panel discussion with an audience participating on the BBC a few weeks back on the subject. The panel and the audience all said the same thing. "Something" had to be done. Not a single person offered up a concrete thing to do. Not one.

Untill such people state exactly what they want done and how, their indignation sounds a bit hollow.

Islam - Jihad at the University

Note this from this BBC report.

Saed Mohammad is a student at Kabul University - he studies Sharia law - and is married with two children.

He was not brainwashed abroad and sent to kill. He made the decision himself to support the Taleban and made contacts - it was as easy as that.

In the US, UK and at universities around the world, Islamists are recruiting students. Well, if these people are educated why is so easy to recruit them to terrorism? Because they were brought up by Islam.

Islam - Did the Pope's statments help jihadists?

Some seem to think so.

But it doesn't. What the Pope's comments and Muslims reaction to them, really did was expose Muslim hypocrisy. "We're not violent and will kill you if you say we are". One Pakistani politician went so far as to imply just that.

I think the conclusion of the report shows how wrong headed this idea is.

Like the Danish cartoon controversy, the desecration of the Quran and the Abu Ghraib scandal, among other incidents, the Pope's controversial statements will prove to be an effective propaganda tool for radical Islamists to mobilize support for their cause for years to come.

That's the whole point. "other incidents" will be what ever incident Muslims want to use to attack us. These people seem to be aruging against freedom of speech. Musn't make cartoons of Muhammad or the religion of peace and tolerance will kill you with great intolerance.

Note also this report doesn't mention the fact that the Koran desecration story was fabricated by Newsweek. The same Newsweek that promised 14 points for Kerry and when Bush won called him a dictator.

via Peter

US - Why were parts of the NIE leaked?

Here's why.

President Bush and his allies had been working for weeks to turn the national debate away from Iraq and its specific and many failures, hoping to focus instead on terrorism and security in general, trusting that doing so would help out Republican candidates in the Nov. 7 elections. They had reason to believe that their tactics were helping them gain a little ground, but the news from the national intelligence estimate threatened to stop them cold.

It wasn't the "news". It was the selectively leaked parts that were the threat. The result?

So on Tuesday, the White House made the only logical move it had available: The president directed National Intelligence Director John Negroponte to release much of the report so that people could see for themselves what the nation's spy agencies are thinking.

You mean decalssify. There you have it. Partisan hacks in the intelligence community, working with the left wing media, are forcing our government to exspose our intelligence to the enemy.

Do you need more proof that the left are a dangerous threat to our democracy?

Islam - "Suicide Killers" - The Movie

Film maker Pierre Rehov explains.

Q - Why is this film especially important?

A - People don't understand the devastating culture behind this unbelievable phenomenon. My film is not politically correct because it addresses the real problem, showing the real face of Islam. It points the finger against a culture of hatred in which the uneducated are brainwashed to a level where their only solution in life becomes to kill themselves and kill others in the name of a God whose word, as transmitted by other men, has become their only certitude.

Q - What insights did you gain from making this film? What do you know that other experts do not know?

A - I came to the conclusion that we are facing a neurosis at the level of an entire civilization.

Iraq and jihad: A consensus surfaces

CSM reports.

Several things stand out about peoples takes on the NIE.

Context is important. This document was written months ago while Zarqawi was still alive. That and subsequent killings and captures of high level al Qaeda figures, has delt a sever blow to terrorists in Iraq. The desperate plea for help by the new al Qaeda leader in Iraq is proof of that. As is the letter from Zawahiri to Zarqawi, before his death, detailing how Zarqawi is doing more harm than good.

These things only hightlight the time lag feature of these events. The NIE report is reporting on things in the past and today's media is reporting on the NIE report that is months old. It's the nature of war but something we shouldn't forget.

The other thing that surprises me is the talk of how al Qaeda is changing and adapting. Why is that a surprise? Of course as we attack them and have successes they will natrually adapt. This is to be expected and not a surprise.

Also missing in all the shouting is the fact that the "consensus" seems to be, that if we defeat al Qaeda in Iraq, it will be yet another humiliating defeat. Afghanistan being the other. Several polls in Muslims countries suggest that suport for al Qaeda has fallen dramatically as a result.

We've a long way to go but for me, I have no doubt that we're winning in Iraq and in the war on terror.

Islam, Muslims and Democracy

In what started out as a public challenge to the right over their stance on the subject, the resulting arguments have turned into a crystallization of terms. I think Esmay was just frustrated and used Michelle as a jumping off point because she's very visible and vocal. You can follow the links to get to the beggining of the story, but there are a couple of things that stood out in the ensuing arguments, that I think are very important.

First, Donald Sensing notes how Esmay isn't framing the argument properly. Islam is a religion and not a race or nationality - a mistake many make. Further he notes:

To claim that Islam is incompatible with democracy is not akin to saying that Germans or Japanese are incompatible with democracy. It is like saying that Nazism or Bushido Shintoism were incompatible with democracy. Which they absolutely were.

It's important to note that he equates "Islam" not being compatible with democracy as "Nazism" is not and not that Muslims are incompatible with democracy. There is a huge difference.

Tom points out this comment from Esmay's site.

Somebody, somewhere in all of the discussions spawned by Esmay's post, has noted that the question is improperly framed: Islam is perfectly compatible with democracy: A majority-Muslim community can vote in Islamic law and live happily ever after. What Islam is *not* compatible with is individual liberty, the idea that the individual posseses rights that transcend the powers of the government under which he lives. *That's* the real conflict.

That to me is the crux of the matter. It is Islam that dictates this and to the degree that Muslims practice Islam, that is what determines how much democracy can be compatible. What I think we are seeing today are fundementalist Muslims pushing for Islam to become more "Islamic" and less democratic. In addition, some Muslim leaders are using this Islamization to become more like Nazis. No one knows this better than a Muslim.

In the House of Islam, you cannot have a principle other than that of the community. Every thing you do is referred to Islam. The mantra is "that's stupid BUT...But we cannot do this because we are Muslims." One hears this expression ad nauseam. In the Islamic world you cease to be a human being. You become only a Muslim, whatever that entails.

You are not allowed to be a person with vices and virtues, you cannot follow your own reasoning, and you cannot be unpopular or defend an unpopular idea. You cannot go out of the circle. To express yourself freely means to risk death. And death indeed if you change your faith. Invention itself is considered as an act of blasphemy.

Substitute Nazism and Nazi and the result is the same, isn't it?

Donald goes on to note the influence the Nazis and democracy had on Muslim countries. The "blend" has produced some undesired effects.

Where does all this leave us? Here, I think, as Tom puts it:

Prior to the Reformation and the Enlightenment there was a serious question as to whether Christianity was compatible with democracy. Now, Western societies have struck a balance amongst religion, art, science, politics, and the law. However, many have noted that Islam has not undergone a similar transformation - does Dean allow for a discussion of the implications of this? Max Boot follows the Pope into that very minefield and is optimistic about islam.

Minefield indeed! For Islam to reform, Muslims will have to admit that the Koran is not the very word of God. That, like all religions, the words have been interperted and written down by man - an imperfect creature to be sure.

Scotland - Winter is coming

One way to tell that cold weather will be here shortly, is the arrival of geese. I live within walking distance of a basin that is the winter home to around 50,000 geese - a mixture of greylags and pink feet.

When you stand on the foot bridge over the rail line in the morning, as the geese leave for the fields, the sound of their calls to one another is defeaning. It's an amazing sight.

Even though their arrival heralds the coming of cold weather, it brings a little smile and a small sense of well being. On some level it seems to indicate, that despite all that's going on in the world, the world goes on - at least the natural world.

With the first skein's (flock) arrival, you make a wee mental note, "ah, the geese are back, at least something still works in the world".

'Iraq al-Qaeda' makes call of desperation

Which begs a question.

"More than 4,000 emigres and many more of the supporters of righteousness [Iraqi insurgents] have given their blood to Iraq," the speaker says.

It also calls for explosives experts and nuclear scientists to help launch non-conventional attacks on US bases, using biological or radialogical weapons, so-called "dirty bombs".

Here's the question. If we're losing in Iraq, as the left wing media, including the BBC, says, why the need for such a call? Why the need to kidnap people to negotiate? If you're winning there'd be no need for this, right? Why the call for WMD attacks unless you're losing the conventional war?

This tape, along with a recently captured al Qaeda letter, proves they are losing. The letter is a catalogue by Zawahiri of Zarqawi's failures in Iraq. This latest tape by al-Muhajir proves he is not up to the job either.

UPDATE

Here's an important part the BBC left out. Natch.

"We are in dire need of you," said the speaker, who identified himself as Abu Hamza al-Muhajir..."

"We are in dire need of you..."

Now why do you suppose the BBC left that part out?

And as CQ points out:

The NIE was correct. If we fight and prevail in Iraq, these terrorists will have been completely discredited. We have engaged them in Iraq and have all but wiped them out. The only way to beat the Islamists is to fight them where they stand, and we have done that in Iraq -- and even Masri has to admit it.

Afghanistan - Nato to extend operations

While BBC extends propaganda.

Current operations in Afghanistan are offensive by NATO to root out the remaing pockets of Taleban and extend the Afghan governments contorl over the entire country. The increased fighting is a result of the Taleban fighting back and not a resurgence on their part. The Taleban are being pushed out of Afghanistan or killed - in huge numbers. While casulties on our side have been extremely light by comparison.

But the BBC would rather you think that the Taleban are back - bigger and badder.

The move will take the alliance into the eastern parts of Afghanistan and bring up to 12,000 American troops under Nato command.

That's along the Pakistani border and brings NATO troop levels up to 30,000.

The announcement came as the US military said that militant attacks near the Pakistani border had tripled in some areas.

The rise in activity comes despite a peace agreement meant to end violence by pro-Taleban militants in Pakistan's North Waziristan border area.

Both points are completely the reverse.

The attacks near the Pakistani border have tripled because we've tripled the number of NATO troops there and are attacking the Taleban. Not the other way round.

The rise in activity isn't despite the peace agreement. The rise is because of the peace agreement. Part of that agreement says that the foreign fighters must leave the area. Now, there will be some along the Pakistani border that will ignore the agreement but there are some who will. In addition, as the Taleban are being killed in huge numbers in Afghanistan, the replacements have to come from Pakistan. Which is why NATO is moving into the eastern provinces - to kill new recruits.

But since the BBC is a left wing rag, they'd rather you thought the Taleban were back - bigger and badder.

US - Clinton's try to rewrite history

Recently, Bill Clinton tried to rewrite history when he claimed that al Qaeda didn't have anything to do with "Black Hawk down". Clinton went so far as to say everyone knew that it was a bunch of bull shit. And yet, it was Clinton's Justice Department that indicted bin Laden in 1998 and specifically charged him with killing Americans during that operation. By the way, this illustrates how the Clinton's saw al Qaeda as a police matter and destroys Clinton's calim that he couldn't get the CIA or FBI to confirm bin Laden was behind attacks on America - Clinton had already done just that.

Now, with the help of the AP, Bill's wife tries to rewrite history to back her husband up.

“I’m certain that if my husband and his national security team had been shown a classified report entitled ’Bin Laden Determined To Attack Inside the United States’ he would have taken it more seriously than history suggests it was taken by our current president and his national security team.”

Well, Hillary and AP, Bill Clinton signed just such a report himself in 1998.

"The Intelligence Community has strong indications that Bin Laden intends to conduct or sponsor attacks inside the United States."

Twenty-three percent express a favorable view (5% very).

Views of Osama bin Laden are only slightly less negative. Overall 93 percent have an unfavorable view, with 77 percent very unfavorable.

And Iraqi confidence in their military and police are on the increase. As that confidence increases there will be an accompanying desire to see America play less a role in security. Which is as it should be.

Signs the world accepts Iraq is truly a free and democratic government.

UNITED NATIONS - Iraq is getting more respect now that it has an elected government, fully participating in dozens of meetings at the U.N. General Assembly. "Now it's business," said Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari.

As the annual meeting of the world's leaders heads to its finale on Wednesday, the Iraqi minister said that since he started coming here in 2003 he's never been busier.

"This is a good sign because Iraq really — despite the bad news, the negative news coming out of Baghdad — is moving steadily toward a functional state," he said in an interview Monday with The Associated Press.

The operation follows the arrest of another leader of the group and seven aides early Saturday in the same area.

I wonder of the other networks or the BBC carried the news conference including Karzai's full remarks?

Here's a transcript.

Karzai: "...terrorism was hurting us way before Iraq or September 11th. The President mentioned some examples of it. These extremist forces were killing people in Afghanistan and around for years, closing schools, burning mosques, killing children, uprooting vineyards, with vine trees, grapes hanging on them, forcing populations to poverty and misery.

They came to America on September 11th, but they were attacking you before September 11th in other parts of the world. We are a witness in Afghanistan to what they are and how they can hurt. You are a witness in New York. Do you forget people jumping off the 80th floor or 70th floor when the planes hit them? Can you imagine what it will be for a man or a woman to jump off that high? Who did that? And where are they now? And how do we fight them, how do we get rid of them, other than going after them? Should we wait for them to come and kill us again? That's why we need more action around the world, in Afghanistan and elsewhere, to get them defeated -- extremism, their allies, terrorists and the like."

UK - Exposed: How the left supports terrorism

I saw an incredible show on UK television last night. Incredible because it took the left to task for supporting terrorism.

The show was "Don't get me started" on channel five at 7:15 pm. In it, David Aarononvitch exposed how the left is supporting Muslim terrorists around the world and undermining the war on terror. They named names too - Galloway and Pilger were denounced.

The show also exposed the false idea that Afgahanistan or Iraq are behind Muslim terrorism and noted the first attack on the WTC and 9/11 both preceded those wars. Likewise the myth that poverty breeds terrorism by pointing out the Muslim 7/7 terrorist came from well to do families.

The show detailed some of Hezbollah's terrorist activities and pointed out they started the latest Lebanon war, used human shields and acted as terrorists. While on the other hand Israel did its best to hit only military targets. But the left joined with the terrorists, marching to the tune of "we are all Hezbollah now".

I sat there gobsmacked. I never thought I'd see the bare truth laid out so well and the left exposed as the Muslim terror supporters they have become.

You will never see such a show on the BBC.

Too bad my vcr was on the blink and I couldn't record it. If anyone has a video of it, please email it to me. Email is on the top left of the blog.

Germany - Fury over Muslim appeasement

The Scotsman reports.

Islam - Freedom of expression means death

Why do Muslims put up with this? If your answer is fear, fear from family, community and Muslims at large, then surely Muslims have to be the biggest cowards in history. Before you call me names read this Muslim's entire article for in it he lays out the fundemental reason why there is no progress in the Muslim world.

Read this and remember the writer is a Muslim.

Here's why.

To survive in such unfriendly atmosphere like this, journalists in the Muslim world have become like parrots that only echo the official line. Torn between the call of professionalism and that of censorship, they have to always adhere to the call of the latter. If it takes a village to raise a child in Africa, it takes a community to kill a writer, artist and a journalist in the Muslim world.

All too true and all too sad.

And this cowardice is spreading. Remember the Muhammad cartoons? The Burger King ice cream cone? More signs of cowardice here.

US - Video destroys Clinton's legal argument

See here.

One of the killer lines - why did Clinton say he tried to kill bin Laden when he says at the same time he didn't have the legal authority to go after bin Laden?

In addition, as President, Clinton could have granted himself permission!!

US - Scheuer, Townsend say Clinton lied

The hits just keep on coming. I said the Democrats would regret this.

US - Bill Clinton wags finger and calls BBC far right

Here's a BBC interview in 2004 by David Dimbleby with Bill Clinton. It's not just Fox News's Chris Wallace that Clinton bristles at being asked inconvenient questions.

Watch the video but here are some interesting things I heard.

9:40 Clinton says he wasn't thinking straight because of ken Starr so he had an affair with Lewinsky. How does that square with his claim that he wasn't distracted away from al Qaeda by Starr's investigation?

10:58 and at other times Clinton talks about living parallel lives.

11:10 Clinton talks about his titanic fight with my demons. Again, how does that square with his claims that he wasn't distracted?

16:47 Clinton starts to attack Dimbleby like he did Wallace, wagging his finger and saying people like you.

And again at 17:55 people like you..finger wagging...you always help the far right....you like to hurt people...

26:40 Clinton makes an astonishing claim that when he bombed Iraq four times, he was not sure if he got all of saddam's wmd.

Compare this video to the Wallace video.

US - President Clinton Lied

That's what Andrew Klavan says writing in the LA Times.

Compare and contrast Clinton. Questioned mildly on his anti-terrorism record by Fox's Chris Wallace on Sunday, President Me went absolutely medieval on the newsman, leaning forward threateningly, rapping his fingers against Wallace's notes and proceeding to, well, lie — and in a very angry voice too!

"And you got that little smirk on your face and you think you're so clever," Clinton told Wallace, sounding for all the world like a 6-year-old girl scolding her playground rival. He then proceeded to try to rewrite his coulda-woulda-shoulda presidency by claiming to have had a much more focused and hard-lined approach to terrorism than any reading of his administration can support. Even Clinton counter-terrorism chief Richard Clarke's book — which Clinton cited repeatedly during his tantrum — shows the president as too weak to order Osama bin Laden's death. Other accounts are much less favorable.

Just about everything Clinton said in the interview with Wallace was a lie.

US - YouTube removes Clinton interview video

Iraq - Why don't we let the Iraqis speak for themselves

for a change.

Turkey - Top general warns of Islamist threat

Reuters reports.

ANKARA (Reuters) - A top general said on Monday Turkey faces a growing Islamist threat and he strongly defended the army's right to speak out on the issue despite European Union criticism about military "interference" in politics.

Turkey's military, which drove a government from power as recently as 1997, views itself as the ultimate guardian of the country's secular order, but it has seen its considerable powers trimmed in recent years by EU-inspired reforms.

Why is this important?

The Turkish military has intervened directly in politics four times in the past 50 years, most recently ousting a government it viewed as too Islamist in 1997.

Brazilian Murders Eclipse Total Iraqi War Deaths

Some 55,000 Brazilians died of homicide in 2005 -- a few thousand more civilians than in three years of war in Iraq, according to leading estimates.

Iran - BBC paints rosy picture

Now that there's a lot of talk about war with Iran floating about, the BBC decide they better put out some rose colored report about the country. Pounce destorys the BBC's fabricated report.

As you read, bear in mind the BBC reporter in question is a Muslim married to an Iranian. In one of her latest reports she blamed an airplane crash on American sanctions. This despite the fact that the plane was Russian and crashed due to a burst tyre on landing.

Folks, this is how bad the BBC has become. The BBC is nothing more than a left wing, Islamist, Communist and anti-war propaganda machine.

Lots more on the BBC here.

US - Why Clinton "Lost His Temper"

Bill Kristol notes it was all a political stunt. I agree but one that ultimately backfired.

US - Scheuer says Clinton refused to kill bin Laden

8 - 10 times!!

Scheuer made his comments on CBS's "Early Show" with Harry Smith.

Money quotes:

"The president seems to be able, the former president seems to be able to deny facts with impugnity. Bin Laden is alive today because Mr. Clinton, Mr. Sandy Berger, and Mr. Richard Clarke refused to kill him."

"Oh, I think there's plenty of blame to go around, sir, but the fact of the matter is that the Bush Administration had one chance that they botched, and the Clinton Administration had eight to ten chances that they refused to try..."

"...But it's just, it's an incredible kind of situation for the American people over the weekend to hear their former president mislead them."

Note that Smith repeats what Clinton claimed, namely that the CIA and FBI couldn't verify that bin Laden was behind attacks on America. Therefore Clinton was unable to kill bin Laden. Smith and Clinton want you to forget that Clinton indicted bin Landen in 1998 for numerous attacks on America. So, Clinton had the verification in 1998 and refused to act as Scheuer maintains.

The Democrats are going to be sorry they decided to refight Clinton's abysmal record on terror.

US - Oprah Lords Over White Folk

That's according to this report.

Among many, many other things, Oprah talked about her humble beginnings in Mississippi, and particularly about how her mother's highest aspiration for her was that she might end up cleaning white people's houses, because "they give away nice clothes." And then Oprah pointed out that now that she's Oprah, she has "all these white people" working for her, and that in fact there's only one black person on the staff. Way to turn the tables, girl.

Germany - Play cancelled to appease Muslims

AFP reports.

The play sounds pretty grotesque to me and I can understand why it would upset some. But notice it's being cancelled out of fear of Muslim violence only.

Berlin's Deutsche Oper has removed the provocative staging of a Mozart opera from its schedule for fear of enraging Muslims, the opera house said in a statement.

One of three opera houses in the German capital, it cancelled director Hans Neuenfels's production of "Idomeneo", a 1781 drama set in ancient Crete, because authorities warned it could present an "incalculable security risk".

In the staging, which sparked audience protests during its premiere in December 2003, King Idomeneo presents the lopped-off heads of Poseidon, Jesus, Buddha and the Prophet Mohammed and displays them on four chairs.

German critics saw the show at the time as a radical attack on religion and religious wars.

Musical director Kirsten Harms decided to cancel the new staging of the opera, scheduled for November, to avert "any danger to the audience or staff" that could arise from violent protests.

The opera itself deals with resistance to sacrifices demanded by the gods but makes no mention of any of the world's major religions.

Did you catch "the Prophet Mohammed" but not "the Prophet Jesus"?

Appeasement demands more appeasement until you submit. Here in Britain, Burger King had to recall an ice cream cone because the swirl on top offended some Muslims.

UK - 9/11 planner linked to London bombings

That's according to AFP.

More proof that al Qaeda was behind 7/7 and that it wasn't just a homegrown copycat terror attack.

Musharraf does not name the second militant who scouted the possible London targets but it is believed to be Naeem Noor Khan, a Pakistani computer expert captured in Lahore in mid-2004. His whereabouts are unknown.

Pakistan gave Britain information on the militant's laptop about terror plots as well as "direct access" to Khan, Musharraf says in the book.

"Later this would reveal a link with Siddique Khan and Shehzad Tanweer," two of the young Britons of Pakistani heritage who blew themselves up in London on July 7, 2005, Musharraf says, without specifying when.

But he hits out at British authorities for not sharing this information on Tanweer and Siddique Khan with Pakistan for three weeks after the bombings "and despite the fact that Siddique and Tanweer had first been spotted 17 months earlier".

US - Clinton raged after Wallace interview

at his own staff.

Chris Wallace (FOX TV) just stated on the Monday morning news segment of Fox TV (aired in the 7:00 a.m. EST hour) that, not only did Bill Clinton retain his anger at Wallace after the interview was over and the cameras were off (despite Wallace trying to part on friendly terms), Clinton absolutely fumed at his own personal staff, right then and there while still on the Fox TV premises, for getting him into the interview with Wallace where he had earlier lost his head.

Wallace said Clinton's blow up at his staff for this mistake was very visible and very audible and very emotional.

But of course the BBC leave out the Muslim bit.

She has been accused of two counts of entering into funding arrangements for the purposes of terrorism.

Iraq - Senior al Qaeda terrorist 'killed in Iraq'

The BBC reports.

Officials named the dead man as Omar Farouq, a top lieutenant of Osama Bin Laden in south-east Asia.

Farouq was captured in Indonesia in 2002 but escaped from a US military prison in Afghanistan last year.

Here's more information on Farouq from 2002.

Information provided by Mr al-Farouq helped prompt the shutdown of 13 US embassies and consulates this week and led the government to elevate the terrorist threat status on Tuesday to "Orange", reflecting a high chance of attack on US interests.

"He's helping knit together a lot of things out there," said a Jakarta source familiar with the al-Farouq investigation. A security official in the region said, "his information was the final straw that pushed Washington and Jakarta into that increased awareness mode. He was able to provide a lot of detail."

UK - We've stopped standing up for Britain

Minette Marrin writes in the London Times.

It would be comforting to assume that Izzadeen is solitary and ignorant. Unfortunately he isn’t. An NOP poll for Channel 4 found that almost one in four British Muslims believed that the slaughter in London on July 7 was justified. Muslim community leaders can say what they like about Islam being all about peace; it’s perfectly clear that not all Muslims see it that way. For a long time now they have spread rage and resentment among their people and we have lacked the will and the instinct for self-preservation to resist it.

We all know what happened to Maximus. For all his strength and honour, for all that he tried to hold the line in his country’s interests, he came to a sticky end because Rome was by then decadent, demoralised and rotting from within. It may seem extreme to compare contemporary Britain and the Gloucestershire constabulary, or the mouthings of an irrational Muslim convert, with the latter days of the Roman empire. But it’s worth a thought.

The Islamization of Britain is well underway.

UK: Battle Against Islamist Mega-Mosque In London

Western Resistance has the story.

Read the whole thing but here's the conclusion.

One thing is certain. This group is not to be trusted. Ken Livingstone, London's mayor, is expected to bulldoze any opposition to the construction of this mosque. Livingstone has more loyalty to extremists such as the Muslim Brotherhood, in the form of its spiritual leader Yusef al-Qaradawi, than he does to the people of London whom he mendaciously claims to represent. People in London should write to the London Development Agency and ask the necessary questions - who is funding the London Markaz? What is the purpose of the mosque? Does West Ham need an "Islamic village"?

Appeasement to Islam should not happen at the best of times, but to appease those who state that they do not respect national boundaries or democracies should never be encouraged.

US - U.N. shows why it's incapable of reform

Mark Steyn reports.

He also notes how insane Ted Turner has become. Listen to this rant by Ted.

Why shouldn't Iran have nukes?

"They're a sovereign state," he said. "We have 28,000. Why can't they have 10? We don't say anything about Israel -- they've got 100 of them approximately -- or India or Pakistan or Russia. And really, nobody should have them. They aren't usable by any sane person."

Iran should have 10 but "really, nobody should have them". Make up your mind Ted.

Speaking of Iran's Ahmadinejad, Steyn note this:

The annals of human history are filled with millennial cultists of one form or another but ours is the first era in which they have the capability to live up to their sandwich boards. President Ahmageddonouttahere is an apocalyptic with a delivery system: "The end is nigh" is an old slogan. Now the means are nigh.

On the UN he has this, among other things, to say.

It may be news to the Council of Foreign Relations types and the Dems, but the U.N. demonstrated this last week that it is utterly incapable of reform. Indeed, any reforms would be more likely to upgrade and enhance the cliques of thugs and despots than of the few states willing to stand up to them. The most sensible proposal this week came from Chavez, who demanded the U.N. relocate to Venezuela. You go, girl! Dershowitz would be better off trying to get America expelled from the U.N., and encouraging it to join a new group of nations serious about defending freedom in the world: It would be a very small club. This week Jacques Chirac dropped the threat of sanctions against Iran. A few months ago, he briefly mused about nuking the Persians, but he's now folded like ... well, not like the Arabs and their tents: They're busily pitching them all over Europe with no plans to fold at all. Anyone who thinks the U.N. is the body to mediate Iran's nuclearization or anything else is more deluded than Ahmadinejad. At this rate, the Twelfth Imam will be the next secretary-general.

US - Richard Clarke destroys Bill Clinton

This is so good I decided to make it a seperate post.

Watch the interview with Wallace and Clinton here. Pay close attention to how often Clinton refers you to Clarke and urges you to read his book.

Now, let's look at what Clarke was saying back in 2002.

First off, Clarke destroys the myth that Clinton passed on a plan for getting bin Laden and eliminating al Qaeda.

RICHARD CLARKE: Actually, I've got about seven points, let me just go through them quickly. Um, the first point, I think the overall point is, there was no plan on Al Qaeda that was passed from the Clinton administration to the Bush administration.

You can't get any clearer than that. Next he destroys the myth that Clinton was doing all he could to fight terrorism.

Second point is that the Clinton administration had a strategy in place, effectively dating from 1998. And there were a number of issues on the table since 1998. And they remained on the table when that administration went out of office — issues like aiding the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan, changing our Pakistan policy -- uh, changing our policy toward Uzbekistan. And in January 2001, the incoming Bush administration was briefed on the existing strategy. They were also briefed on these series of issues that had not been decided on in a couple of years.

"...not been decided on in a couple of years"

Clarke goes on to note the Bush administration acted immediately and forcefully to deal with al Qaeda.

And the third point is the Bush administration decided then, you know, in late January, to do two things. One, vigorously pursue the existing policy, including all of the lethal covert action findings, which we've now made public to some extent.

And the point is, while this big review was going on, there were still in effect, the lethal findings were still in effect. The second thing the administration decided to do is to initiate a process to look at those issues which had been on the table for a couple of years and get them decided.

So, point five, that process which was initiated in the first week in February, uh, decided in principle, uh in the spring to add to the existing Clinton strategy and to increase CIA resources, for example, for covert action, five-fold, to go after Al Qaeda.

Clarke then details how fast the Bush administration acted.

The sixth point, the newly-appointed deputies — and you had to remember, the deputies didn't get into office until late March, early April. The deputies then tasked the development of the implementation details, uh, of these new decisions that they were endorsing, and sending out to the principals.

Over the course of the summer — last point — they developed implementation details, the principals met at the end of the summer, approved them in their first meeting, changed the strategy by authorizing the increase in funding five-fold, changing the policy on Pakistan, changing the policy on Uzbekistan, changing the policy on the Northern Alliance assistance.

Now for the killer line for Clinton. This one destroys everything Clinton said in the interview.

And then changed the strategy from one of rollback with Al Qaeda over the course of five years, which it had been, to a new strategy that called for the rapid elimination of Al Qaeda. That is in fact the timeline.

When did President Bush get that document?

CLARKE: The document went to the president on September 10, I think.

Clarke destroys another myth, the myth that there was animosity between the outgoing Clinton team and the incoming Bush team.

CLARKE: I think if there was a general animus that clouded their vision, they might not have kept the same guy dealing with terrorism issue. This is the one issue where the National Security Council leadership decided continuity was important and kept the same guy around, the same team in place. That doesn't sound like animus against uh the previous team to me.

JIM ANGLE: You're saying that the Bush administration did not stop anything that the Clinton administration was doing while it was making these decisions, and by the end of the summer had increased money for covert action five-fold. Is that correct?

CLARKE: All of that's correct.

But what was the Clinton administration doing since 1998? Not much according to Clarke.

QUESTION: Were all of those issues part of alleged plan that was late December and the Clinton team decided not to pursue because it was too close to ...

CLARKE: There was never a plan, Andrea. What there was was these two things: One, a description of the existing strategy, which included a description of the threat. And two, those things which had been looked at over the course of two years, and which were still on the table.

Clarke goes on to hammer home the point that the Clinton's were doing almost nothing in regards to terrorism.

QUESTION: So there was nothing that developed, no documents or no new plan of any sort?

CLARKE: There was no new plan.

QUESTION: No new strategy — I mean, I don't want to get into a semantics ...

CLARKE: Plan, strategy — there was no, nothing new.

QUESTION: 'Til late December, developing ...

CLARKE: What happened at the end of December was that the Clinton administration NSC principals committee met and once again looked at the strategy, and once again looked at the issues that they had brought, decided in the past to add to the strategy. But they did not at that point make any recommendations.

QUESTIONS: Had those issues evolved at all from October of '98 'til December of 2000?

CLARKE: Had they evolved? Um, not appreciably.

That's two years Clinton did virtually nothing. Clarke then acknowledges that Bush acted immediately.

ANGLE: So, just to finish up if we could then, so what you're saying is that there was no — one, there was no plan; two, there was no delay; and that actually the first changes since October of '98 were made in the spring months just after the administration came into office?

CLARKE: You got it. That's right.

Just how fast and how much effort did Bush put into combating al Qaeda? Clarke notes that Bush increased the CIA funding 5 fold and went after bin Laden in March.

QUESTION: Just to clarify, did that come up in April or later?

CLARKE: No, it came up in April and it was approved in principle and then went through the summer. And you know, the other thing to bear in mind is the shift from the rollback strategy to the elimination strategy. When President Bush told us in March to stop swatting at flies and just solve this problem, then that was the strategic direction that changed the NSPD from one of rollback to one of elimination.

QUESTION: Well can you clarify something? I've been told that he gave that direction at the end of May. Is that not correct?

CLARKE: No, it was March.

Thanks Bill for referring us to Clarke. That's cleared a lot of things up.

US - Media: Lifeblood of terrorists

Glenn explains.

And he has this from a journalist.

More thoughts on terrorists and the media here, from a journalist. "So then, why does the media take such pains to avoid parroting, carrying water for or even vaguely reflecting the ideals of the U.S. military or the nation's elected government yet so wantonly accept and even hire the terrorists' spin?"

Why indeed.

US - Does AP stand for Al-Qaeda Propaganda?

Wow! That's the question being asked by The Boston Herald.

"The AP has had one or two exemplary war correspondents in Iraq. But this strange war has changed so many things. In late 2004, as the U.S. military was moving to rid Fallujah of the terrorists who controlled it, the AP wanted some eyes inside the city. It hired Bilal Hussein. He gave the AP photos of insurgents setting up ambushes and firing at Americans. He gave them photos of terrorists posing with their freshly slaughtered victims. His pictures helped the AP win a Pulitzer Prize.

A blogger named Darleen at www.darleenclick.com said it very well in December of 2004:

“I have trouble with how cozy this AP photographer is with the terrorists. I realize he’s a Hussein from Fallujah, so his own personal feelings and associations may be on display here, but did The Associated Press . . . employ Nazis to get photos showing attacks on the Allies and the execution of Jews?”

I wish it stopped with the AP’s effort to give the enemy in Iraq a fair shake, as if terrorists were freedom fighters. Then I look at the AP copy I see nightly. The president of the United States gives a speech. The AP grants him a couple of fragmentary quotes before allowing his failed 2004 challenger and other opponents several full paragraphs to denounce him."

Iraq - Does the war there fuel terrorism?

MSM are touting leaked portions of an intelligence report to say that it is. But as I've said many times if not Iraq it would be something else. All the terrorism committed prior to the Iraq war is proof of that. There's no doubt that Muslims are using the war in Iraq, and Afghanistan for that matter, to recruit more terrorists.

Here's a perfect example to illustrate the point. Notice how Izzadeen starts out wailing about Iraq and Afghanistan but ends up stating his true aim is to see the world ruled by Muslims. Read the whole thing but note this statement: "Allah has put us on the planet earth to live wherever we want and implement the Sharia rules."

CQ has more and notes that Muslim terrorism was expanding rapidly during he 12 years of "peace" in Iraq. Read the whole thing.

UPDATE

Gateway Pundit has more and asks a few questions.

But, what the liberal media still has trouble explaining is why these newly recruited terrorists want to behead the Canadian Prime Minister in Parliament, why they want to blow up trains in Germany, why they want to punish the "Crusader nation" of France or why they make plans to behead ambassadors in Norway?

US - Bill Clinton plays the left like a piano

The blogsphere and MSM are a buzz with Clinton's over the top reaction to Fox News' Wallace interview. Clinton went so far as to say "You did you[r] nice little conservative hit job on me." Face a raging purple, finger wagging like in the famous "I did not have sex with that woman", Clinton was speaking for all the lefties out there, right in the belly of the right wing beast.

There's just one problem, (well actaully there are a whole lot of problems but more on that later) Clinton knew this was coming - he was on Fox News and after the uproar over the Path to 9/11, Clinton knew he would be asked this. So, this whole thing was actually staged by Clinton to garner sympathy and give the left blogsphere some red meat to chew on.

As I said yesterday, if the left want to refight Clinton's record on terrorrism, bring it on.

Start with Hot Air who has the video clip and lots of links and proof to refute much of what Clinton said. Much of Clinton's defense centered around Clarke -- bad move. Glenn and Patterico destroy that defense and much of what Clinton had to say.

As a retired service member, I was struck by Clinton's "they wouldn't let me do it" defense - they being the CIA, FBI and the military. Clinton must have forgot he was the commander in chief.

Michelle has more including how, like their reaction to The Path to 9/11, this is blowing up in the Democrats face.

The Clinton Freak-Out is the No. 1 Most Viewed video on YouTube this weekend. And, in a little Internet victory, Fox was touting that point as part of its advertising of the interview. You know, instead of ripping the video down because it violated copyright. Good move, Fox. Now, almost 900,000 people have seen the great preview, and undoubtedly many of them tuned in for the whole thing as a result.

The Jawa Report agrees this was staged by Clinton. It was and it's backfiring big time. As with The Path to 9/11, now more and more people will re-learn just how weak the Democrats are on national security.

Even HuffnPuff says this blew up in Clinton's face, abeit for different reasons. Still, the effect is the same, Clinton made a fool of himself in public.

Love it!

UPDATE

ABC News notes

In the interview Clinton said that during the 1990s conservatives criticized him for "obsessing" over bin Laden and "they ridiculed me for trying" to kill bin Laden.

So let's examine the record...

By all means do that.

Told you this would blow up in their faces.

UPDATE

Even Richard Clarke rebuts what Clinton says.

RICHARD CLARKE: Actually, I've got about seven points, let me just go through them quickly. Um, the first point, I think the overall point is, there was no plan on Al Qaeda that was passed from the Clinton administration to the Bush administration.

Then there's this bombshell for the Clintonites.

"And then changed the strategy from one of rollback with Al Qaeda over the course of five years, which it had been, to a new strategy that called for the rapid elimination of Al Qaeda. That is in fact the timeline."

He then goes on the heap praise on the Bush administration and lays out how quickly and how much effort was put into combating terrorism. Read the whole thing.

Tons more links here destroying Clinton.

UPDATE

More of destroying Clinton here. Claiming that bin Laden had nothing to do with Mogadishu, Clinton had this to say:

"It would have shown weakness if we left right away, but he [bin Laden] wasn't involved in that, that's just a bunch of bull. That was about Mohammad Aidid, a Muslim warlord, murdering 22 Pakistani Muslim troops...he wasn't a religious fanatatic, there was no al-Qaida.

Well Bill, then why did you indite bin Laden in 1998 for doing just that?

j. At various times from in or about 1992 until the date of the filing of this Indictment, USAMA BIN LADEN and other ranking members of Al Qaeda stated privately to other members of Al Qaeda that the United
States forces stationed in the Horn of Africa, including Somalia, should be attacked;

k. Beginning in or about early spring 1993, Al Qaeda members began to provide training and assistance to Somali tribes opposed to the United Nations intervention in Somalia;

l. On October 3 and 4, 1993, members of Al Qaeda participated with Somali tribesmen in an attack on United States military personnel serving in Somalia as part of Operation Restore Hope, which attack killed a total of 18 United States soldiers and wounded 73 others in Mogadishu;

There's some bull shit here alright and Clinton's putting it out.

Lebanon - Hezbolla: "melting back into the population."

The AP reports that with a straight face which prompted this from Charles.

"Now just a minute. “Melting back into the population?” Isn’t this the same Associated Press who told us that all of the Lebanese casualties were “civilians?” Who never published a single photograph of a Hizballah fighter in action? Who mocked allegations that Hizballah was using the real civilians as human shields? Who screamed non-stop about “disproportionate” action by Israel?

But now Hizballah fighters, who (if you believe the AP) were never there to begin with, have mysteriously “vanished.”

What a joke."

Indeed.

Venezuela - "Repeat of the Cuban Missile Crisis?"

From our just added to the blogroll, The Steel Deal, comes this distrubing must read report.

Iranian sources report that Ahmadinejad also talked persuasively to Chavez about making a show of deploying a few Iranian-made 2,000-km range Shahab-3 missiles – first in Venezuela then in Cuba – as a menace to the United States.

While that may be a bit much, there's no doubt that Iran is working with Cuba and Chavez to further their terrorist goals.

Add to this the fact that Hezbollah is now operating openly in Venezuela. Chavez's aid to terrorists are well known.

London's mad mayor, Red Ken Livingstone, is on Chavez's payroll.

UK - Police to brief Muslims before terror raids

This is how insane Britain is becoming.

POLICE have agreed to consult a panel of Muslim leaders before mounting counter-terrorist raids or arrests. Members of the panel will offer their assessment of whether information police have on a suspect is too flimsy and will also consider the consequences on community relations of a raid.

Members will be security vetted and will have to promise not to reveal any intelligence they are shown. They will not have to sign the Official Secrets Act.

As a member of the infidels I am outraged. Are the police going to consult a like panel of us infidels so we can offer our assesment to counter their's?

Whatever happened to the government's claim that Muslim terrorism had nothing to do with one community in particular?

Shouldn't Muslims be outraged to be singled out this way? What the government is saying is that if not handled properly, Muslims will riot when the police arrest Muslim terror suspects. In other words, Muslims will protect Muslim terrorists.

It gets worse.

This week the Association of Chief Police Officers will discuss with MI5 and the Home Office whether to reveal to the panel intelligence information from the security service.

As a former intelligence analyst, I can assure you, you can gain intellignece beyond the intelligence you are given.

Who's behind this move?

The idea came from the Metropolitan police and the Muslim Safety Forum (MSF), which works for better police-Muslim relations. It has been under discussion for two years and came to the top of the agenda after a police raid in Forest Gate, London, in June, in which a man was shot. Police were acting on a tip-off about a bomb. None was found.

Azad Ali, chairman of the MSF, said: “The major concern that came to us from Muslims was that the intelligence was flawed — the raid was on assumption and nothing else. This will allow independent scrutiny of intelligence.”

How is showing Muslims intelligence on suspected Muslim terrorists "independent"?

So, how's it worked out in the past when the Police alerted Ali and the MSF of impending arrests of suspected Muslim terrorists?

MSF members could resign tomorrow if the police arress Moazzam Begg, Richard Belmar, Feroz Abbasi and Martin Mubanga.[...]

Muslim organisations represented on MSF are planning a demonstration outside Paddington Green police station tomorrow, where the detainees are expected to be taken.

Oh, dear. See here for Begg's ties to terrorism.

It gets worse.

MSF member Massoud Shadjareh, who chairs the Islamic Human Rights Commission,...

Great! A member of MSF, the group behind this suicidal idea, is also

a member of a terrorist front organization.

The commission organizes the annual Al-Quds Day demonstration in London, initiated by Ayatollah Khomeini.[4] It opposes the banning of the Islamist Hizb-ut-Tahrir party and feels that the adoption of sharia law is a legitimate religious idea.[2]

During the 2006 Israel-Lebanon conflict, British Newspapers reported IHRC Chair Massoud Shadjareh to have asked "his followers" and "British Muslims" to provide financial assistance to Hezbollah, and having called for the occupation of Israel...

And you may recall it was the IHRC that was behind the suit to stop US planes from resupplying Israel.

And Ali is in favor of Iran having nuclear weapons. Not just nuclear power but nuclear weapons.

Interviewer: Right, now please elaborate why.

Azad Ali: Well, it's... You're either fair, and you allow people... You know, what you have for yourself you allow for other people, or you're unfair and an oppressor. So, if I'm a fair person - if I have a house and a car, I'd expect my fellow man to have a house and a car as well, and I wouldn't stop them from getting. It's a simple answer.

Simple really. House, car, nuclear bomb, what's the difference?

This new plan is on top of British police having to remove their shoes when entering a suspected Muslim terror suspects house, no bomb sniffing dogs allowed and the raid must be timed so as not to interfere with prayers.

Londonistan, capitol of Lemminstate is aptly named.
