Is Canada the next Al-Qaeda target?

The recent arrest of a Canadian who is linked to the foiled terrorist plot here in Britain raised that question in my mind and then I found this from The Star (Jordanian).

On Wednesday, April 7, David Harris, a former chief of strategic planning with Canada’s security agency, told CTV, Canada’s television news channel, “We know that of all the countries that Osama Bin Laden himself has threatened, only Jordan and Canada have yet to be struck. And we know that a good deal of plotting is going on in the direction of Jordan

There have been several terrorist plots foiled in Jordan recently according to this.

Now, thinking outside the box for a minute, think about this. Terrorists launch an attack on Canada from the US; a reversal of the foiled attack on the LA airport. There is a huge outcry as Canada's citizens blame the US because of Iraq. The blame game and finger pointing begin immediately; communication and coordination on terrorism between the two countries suffers. Oldest military tactic in the world - divide and conquer.

Canada are you listening?
