Shoot-out reported in Saudi city

Suspected militants have traded fire with police in Saudi Arabia's port city of Jeddah, Reuters news agency reports.

Police and the militants opened fire on each other from moving vehicles, says Reuters, quoting security sources.

But the gunmen escaped and were still on the run after a lengthy chase, the sources said.
