UN inspectors: Saddam shipped out WMD before war and after

From World Tribune

The United Nations has determined that Saddam Hussein shipped weapons of mass destruction components as well as medium-range ballistic missiles before, during and after the U.S.-led war against Iraq in 2003.

The UN Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission briefed the Security Council on new findings that could help trace the whereabouts of Saddam's missile and WMD program.

The briefing contained satellite photographs that demonstrated the speed with which Saddam dismantled his missile and WMD sites before and during the war. Council members were shown photographs of a ballistic missile site outside Baghdad in May 2003, and then saw a satellite image of the same location in February 2004, in which facilities had disappeared.

Actually, the UN DID NOT even MENTION Saddam Hussein; what they ACTUALLY said was components from UNGUARDED SITES SINCE THE INVASION are being LOOTED and smuggled out of Iraq. Just like the UN has been warning bush for months.

No wonder so many people are so totally ignorant of the FACTS, thanks to the LIES of the media.

Read the ACTUAL UN comments:

Sorry, I disagree. Your link is just to another version of the story by Reuters, a British owned and usualy anti-American in its slant. Which would explain why Reuters left out Saddams name.

By the way whose WMD would they be anyway?

You even err in quoting the Reuters story. Reuters did not say "UNGUARDED SITES SINCE THE INVASION are being LOOTED" as you say. The article mentions ungarded sites in the first paragraph and says "a site in Iraq stripped of its equipment, possibly by looters."

"Possibly by looters" means Reuters doesn't know and are guessing. Possibly by Saddam loyalist works just as well.

Except the FACT that the UN xays themselves it was SINCE THE INVASION that items are being LOOTED from UNGUARDED SITES. The UN NEVER EVEN MENTIONED SADDAM HUSSEIN.

No, the UN does not say that at all. And providing a link to the main page of the UN does not prove anything either.

And I repeat, whose WMD would they be then if not Saddams? It is not that the UN did not mention Saddam it is that "Reuters" did not mention Saddam.

And why do you KEEP CATPITALIZING YOUR WORDS? Shouting is not necessary.

You are only reading what you want to read and not what people are writing.

I like to have discussions so we can all learn but you are not adding anything to this debate. But thanks for posting anyway.

Here is a link to UNMOVICs latest report.

http://www.un.org/Depts/unmovic/new/documents/quarterly_reports/s-2004-435.pdf

Which, just like the news reports (mine and yours) says, "However, it is possible that some of the materials may have been removed from Iraq by looters
of sites and sold as scrap."

Notice it says "it is possible". The UN did not say, repeat, did not say, "looted from unguarded sites".

Notice also in this report the UN talks about entire sites being dismantled. Why would "looters" bother to dsimantle a site? Looters would just steal the stuff and leave.

In its' report the UN is talking about Iraq. Iraq has had only one ruler in the last 35 years, Saddam. They do not have to name him everybody on this planet except possibly you knows this.

Your argument makes no sense whatever.
