Britain - Proposals To Stop Terrorists

The Sunday Times (UK) reports on proposals to stop the terrorists. All of them are great and they need to get on with it as quick as possible. However, the most important issue, the one at the heart of the whole matter, isn't even addressed - reforming Islam.

It's a long article but a must read.

The London bombings and their aftermath have sparked unprecedented calls for government action to prevent future attacks. In overwhelming numbers, people say they are willing to accept seeing civil liberties curtailed to secure long-term security. A YouGov poll in the aftermath of the July 7 bombings found that seven out of 10 people believed it was sometimes necessary to restrict civil liberties in order to combat terrorism. [70%!!]

Proposals for reform range from tougher laws to radical social re-engineering. Should terror suspects be held for up to three months without charge? Should Britain opt out of the Geneva convention on refugees? Should religious schools be abandoned in favour of secular education? Should the state disown multiculturalism? For each of these questions, and many others like them, there is no simple yes or no answer. Each must be weighed in terms of practicality and principle.

But the Times own panel of experts seems to indicated that almost all of the proposals should be adopted.

A must read.

Britain - Terrorism: Pakistan Blames Britain

And they have a point.

BRITAIN is regarded as a safe haven by Islamic extremists because it has failed to crack down on them despite urging other countries to do so, the president of Pakistan has warned.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, General Pervez Musharraf suggested that Britain had paid a price for putting the right of free speech before the need to curb militant Islamic organisations that openly advocate violence.

“They should have been doing what they have been demanding of us to do — to ban extremist groups like they asked us to do here in Pakistan and which I have done,” he said.

In particular, he said, Britain should have banned Al-Muhajiroun and Hizb ut-Tahrir, groups that he accuses of preaching anger and hatred and of calling for his own assassination.

“They could have banned these two groups. Good action is when you foresee the future and pre-empt and act beforehand, instead of reacting as in the case of Britain — which waited for the damage to be done and is now reacting to it.”

Here is why he is right.

LONDON, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Muslims living in Britain are facing two choices; either to migrate or to join the jihad, a key Islamic figure has said.

Sheikh Omar Bakri Muhammed, leader of the now officially disbanded Islamic militant group Al Muhajiroun told United Press International Saturday that as the covenant of security under which Muslims previously lived in Britain has been broken, Muslims must now consider themselves at war.

"And I declare we should ourselves join the global Islamic camp against the global crusade camp," he said.

He called on Muslims to form a new coalition united behind al-Qaida with Osama Bin Laden as their leader.

Then in April this year, just before the Muslim terrorist attacks on London, he warned us:

On April 20th of this year, just over two months before the attack, Bakri bragged that he knew personally that British Muslim terrorists would attack London.

One "very well organised" group in London calling itself al Qaeda Europe "has a great appeal for young Muslims", he said. "I know that they are ready to launch a big operation."

And you may remember the recent scandal over Hizb ut-Tahrir. In which the Guardian was caught red handed, by an American blogger in London, using a Muslim reporter, who was a member of this terrorist organization, to write an article sympathetic to Muslim terrorists. The reporter was eventually fired and the Guardian's executive news editor was forced to resign.

Both of these prove what I've been saying for some time now, we are at war and the enemy is being aided by the British media.

“Many people around the world find it convenient to leave their countries and go to Britain, which they regard as a safe haven as it wants to project itself as a champion of human rights,” Musharraf said.

“But now they (Britain) have to reconsider and take action against these groups.”

Not if Mr Blair's wife, Cherie Booth, a lawyer, has her way.

She told a conference in Malaysia that Britain should not take measures that would "cheapen our right to call ourselves a civilised country".

Mrs. Blair fails to understand that Britain is at war and in times of war civil liberties may suffer temporarily so that the "civilized country" can survive.

It is because of actions like Mrs. Blair's that got us into this mess in the first place.

Britain - Third Terror Cell Still Out There

And ready to strike!

The Times (UK) reports last weeks heightened police presence at London train stations wasn't just a precaution, the police had specific information that a third terrorist cell was about to strike.

A THIRD Islamist terror cell is planning multiple suicide bomb attacks against Tube trains and other “soft” targets in central London, security sources have revealed.

Intelligence about a cell with access to explosives and plans to unleash a “third wave” of attacks was the trigger for last Thursday’s unprecedented security exercise. The operation saw 6,000 police, many armed, patrolling across London.

Senior police officers say that there was “specific” intelligence from several sources that an attack was planned for that day. The disclosure contradicts official statements by Scotland Yard that Thursday’s security exercise — the biggest since the second world war — was simply a precaution aimed at reassuring the public.

What were the "other soft targets"?

It gets worse.

Details of a “third wave” terror plot to carry out multiple suicide attacks were disclosed to senior police commanders at an emergency Special Branch conference held at Scotland Yard last Wednesday. All police leave was cancelled and hundreds of officers were instructed to book into central London hotel rooms.

Members of the third cell are said to be independent of the July 7 and July 21 terrorists but have “associations” with some of the suspects who have been arrested in connection with the July 21 attacks. Deputy Assistant Commissioner Peter Clarke, head of the anti-terrorist branch, said that despite capturing the four suspected bombers and a fifth man linked to the cell “the threat remains and is very real”.

And worse.

Another officer, a member of the Yard’s firearms unit, which captured three of the suspected suicide bombers in two raids in west London, said: “What we did on Friday was just the tip of the iceberg. There is some big stuff coming in the next few months. There’s a big network that’s got to be cracked.”
.”

Anyone doubt what I've been saying for a long time now, we are at war?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Britain - Papers warn of more bomb attacks

Sure, now they do, after London has been attacked.

Weren't some of these same papers claiming earlier that all these threats of terrorism were made up by neocons in Washington, Bush and Blair so that they could remain in power?

In fact, the BBC's "The Power of Nightmares" made just that claim and told us all it was just a "myth", "fantasy" and "illusion".

What a difference a bomb makes.

Britain - TOBACCO ADS BANNED

Sky News reports "Tobacco companies are banned from striking sponsorship deals with the sports industry from today."

Hopefully measures like these and bans on smoking in public places will aid those that want to quit and more importantly, help others not to start.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Britain - How Did Hussain Escape

That's the biq question surrounding Osman Hussain, one of the Muslim terrorists who attacked London.

Hussain claims "his cell was not linked to either al-Qaida or the cell that carried out deadly bombings July 7, Italian media reported."

But then how does he explain the ease with which he escaped Britain, fled to France and then made it to Milan and onto Rome?

Interior Minister Giuseppe Pisanu, briefing lawmakers, said Hussain counted on an extensive network from the Horn of Africa in Italy to protect him in his flight from London, through Paris and to Rome.

"During the investigation, it has been possible to pinpoint an extensive network of subjects from the Eritrean and Ethiopian communities in Italy considered to have played a role in covering for the fugitive," the minister said.

Top anti-terrorism investigators have said for years that Italy is a logistics base for international terrorists, including in providing false documents to help travel.

And it turns out his real name might not be Hussain afterall.

Newspapers said Hussain's real name was Hamdi Isaac. His brother, who was also reported arrested Friday after guiding police to Hussain's hideout in Rome, was identified in news accounts as Remzi Isaac.

The Sunday Times has some answers. And they aren't pretty.

Afghanistan - BBC Cries a River for Jihadists

More tears for jihadists by the BBC.

In late November 2001, as US-led forces bombed Taleban targets in northern Afghanistan, more than 1,000 Pakistanis took refuge in a girls' school in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif.

They had gone to Afghanistan to fight the Americans.

One thousand in a girls school? That must have been some size of a school. And please note that since said school at the time was under Taleban control, it was no longer a girls school, the Taleban having forbid girls to go to school.

Also notice Haroon Rashid's use of the word "refuge" as if to portray them as victims seeking shelter from some oppressor.

Notice too that these Pakistanis had gone there to "fight the Americans". Since they were not part of Afghanistan's army, they were in fact illegal combatants or as Rashid prefers to call them "jihad fighters".

So this should really read something like, "1000 illegal Pakistani combatants took up positions in a former girls school in support of the Taleban who were fighting American troops".

Rashid goes on to describe the trials and tribulations the relatives of these jihadists are going through. But nowhere does Rashid mention the horror that the Taleban put the locals through when they took over.

From Amnesty International.

Taleban guards deliberately and systematically killed thousands of ethnic Hazara civilians during the first three days following their military takeover of Mazar-e Sharif on 8 August 1998, according to new information received by Amnesty International.

Since their arrival in Mazar-e Sharif, the Taleban have sealed the area to foreign media and independent observers. Amnesty International's information is based on testimonies from eyewitnesses and surviving members of the victims' families.

The vast majority of those killed were from the Hazara ethnic group living in Zara'at, Saidabad, and Elm Arab areas of the city. The victims were killed deliberately and arbitrarily in their homes, in the streets where their bodies were left for several days, or in locations between Mazar-e Sharif and Hairatan. Many of those killed were civilians including women, children and the elderly who were shot trying to flee the city.

How about writing about their families Rashid? After all they were innocent civilians going about their daily lives until these murderers came and destroyed their lives.

America - Popularity Up: Bush responsible

Instapundit has a great round up of America's growing popularity. Here is a sample.

The percentage of people holding a favorable impression of the United States increased in Indonesia (+23 points), Lebanon (+15), Pakistan (+2) and Jordan (+16). It also went up in such non-Muslim nations as France, Germany, Russia and India.

What accounts for this shift? The answer varies by country, but analysts point to waning public anger over the invasion of Iraq, gratitude for the massive U.S. tsunami relief effort and growing conviction that the U.S. is serious about promoting democracy.

There is also increasing aversion to America's enemies, even in the Islamic world. The Pew poll found that "nearly three-quarters of Moroccans and roughly half of those in Pakistan, Turkey and Indonesia see Islamic extremism as a threat to their countries." . . . Muslim opinion also challenges jihadist orthodoxy that proclaims that giving power to the people, rather than to mullahs, is "un-Islamic." The latest Pew poll found "large and growing majorities in Morocco (83%), Lebanon (83%), Jordan (80%) and Indonesia (77%) — as well as pluralities in Turkey (48%) and Pakistan (43%) — [that] say democracy can work well and is not just for the West."

That's exactly what President Bush has been saying. Though his actions and rhetoric have been denounced as "unrealistic" and "extremist" by his American and European critics, it turns out that Muslims welcome it.

Britain - Victory Over The Guardian!!!

Absolutely fantastic news!!! This should bolster the spirits of all of us bloggers fighting the bias in main stream media.

Read this and see if you still feel one person can't make a difference.

Go here for the background on Scott Burgess's, an American blogger living in London, expose of the Guardian hiring a Muslim who was a member of a terrorist organization to write a piece sympathetic to the London terrorists.

This same author also wrote a glowing article about Shabina Begum, the Muslim teenager who sued her to school so she could wear the hijab and was represented by PM Tony Blair's wife.

First the Guardian fired the reporter, then they attacked Scott and bloggers in general, and now Scott reports, "Albert Scardino, the Guardian's executive editor for news, has resigned as a direct result of Sassygate".

Absolutely fantastic news!!

Scardino joins Dan Rather of CBS and Eason Jordon of CNN, in the ranks of biased news people caught out by bloggers.

Main stream media needs to purge its ranks of left wing liberals and stop lying to the public.

You're next BBC!!!

Tech Central Station has a lot more information on the whole scandal.

Islam - The myth of moderate Islam

Patrick Sookhdeo writes on the need for Islam to reform. Something I've been saying for a very long time.

It's a long article and registration, which is free, is required but it is a must read. But for those of you who don't want to, I will quote it at length.

So the mantra ‘Islam is peace’ is almost 1,400 years out of date. It was only for about 13 years that Islam was peace and nothing but peace. From 622 onwards it became increasingly aggressive, albeit with periods of peaceful co-existence, particularly in the colonial period, when the theology of war was not dominant. For today’s radical Muslims — just as for the mediaeval jurists who developed classical Islam — it would be truer to say ‘Islam is war’. One of the most radical Islamic groups in Britain, al-Ghurabaa, stated in the wake of the two London bombings, ‘Any Muslim that denies that terror is a part of Islam is kafir.’ A kafir is an unbeliever (i.e., a non-Muslim), a term of gross insult.

In the words of Mundir Badr Haloum, a liberal Muslim who lectures at a Syrian university, ‘Ignominious terrorism exists, and one cannot but acknowledge its being Islamic.’ While many individual Muslims choose to live their personal lives only by the (now abrogated) peaceable verses of the Koran, it is vain to deny the pro-war and pro-terrorism doctrines within their religion.

Could it be that the young men who committed suicide were neither on the fringes of Muslim society in Britain, nor following an eccentric and extremist interpretation of their faith, but rather that they came from the very core of the Muslim community and were motivated by a mainstream interpretation of Islam?

Muslims who migrated to the UK came initially for economic reasons, seeking employment. But over the last 50 years their communities have evolved away from assimilation with the British majority towards the creation of separate and distinct entities, mimicking the communalism of the British Raj. As a Pakistani friend of mine who lives in London said recently, ‘The British gave us all we ever asked for; why should we complain?’ British Muslims now have Sharia in areas of finance and mortgages; halal food in schools, hospitals and prisons; faith schools funded by the state; prayer rooms in every police station in London; and much more. This process has been assisted by the British government through its philosophy of multiculturalism, which has allowed some Muslims to consolidate and create a parallel society in the UK.

The Muslim community now inhabits principally the urban centres of England as well as some parts of Scotland and Wales. It forms a spine running down the centre of England from Bradford to London, with ribs extending east and west. It is said that within 10 to 15 years most British cities in these areas will have Muslim-majority populations, and will be under local Islamic political control, with the Muslim community living under Sharia.

What happens after this stage depends on which of the two main religious traditions among Pakistani-background British Muslims gains the ascendancy. The Barelwi majority believe in a slow evolution, gradually consolidating their Muslim societies, and finally achieving an Islamic state. The Deobandi minority argue for a quicker process using politics and violence to achieve the same result. Ultimately, both believe in the goal of an Islamic state in Britain where Muslims will govern their own affairs and, as the finishing touch, everyone else’s affairs as well. Islamism is now the dominant voice in contemporary Islam, and has become the seedbed of the radical movements. It is this that Sir Ian Blair has not grasped.

The violence which is endemic in Muslim societies such as Pakistan is increasingly present in Britain’s Muslim community. Already we have violence by Pakistani Muslims against Kurdish Muslims, by Muslims against non-Muslims living among them (Caribbean people in the West Midlands, for example), a rapid growth in honour killings, and now suicide bombings. It is worth noting that many conflicts around the world are not internal to the Muslim community but external, as Muslims seek to gain territorial control, for example, in south Thailand, the southern Philippines, Kashmir, Chechnya and Palestine. Is it possible that a conflict of this nature could occur in Britain?

The article goes on to note ways to address the problem from several quarters and Sookhdeo's own suggestions echo what I've been saying for a long time now.

To this could be added Muslim acceptance of a secular society as the basis for their religious existence, an oath of allegiance to the Crown which would override their allegiance to their co-religionists overseas, and deliberate steps to move out of their ghetto-style existence both physically and psychologically.

For the government, the time has come to accept Trevor Phillips’s statement that multiculturalism is dead. We need to rediscover and affirm a common British identity. This would impinge heavily on the future development of faith schools, which should now be stopped.

Here is what I said recently.

If Britain doesn't have one, create a pledge of allegiance to the flag and have every school kid recite it before school begins in the morning. Require schools and government buildings to display the British flag; other flags, such as Scotland's, could be flown as well, just as state flags are in America. Encourage people to fly their flag outside their homes and to wear emblems of them on their clothes or bumper stickers. Sing the national anthem before every football, soccer, rugby and cricket match.

I've never used this company before but I'm going to give them a try and buy some flags from them.

Let's take back Britain!

You'll note I practice what I preach and have added America's (I'm American), Britain's and Scotland's (I live in Scotland) flags to the blog. I'm also going to order the flags for my home.

I did some research a while back and discoverd that some councils have laws banning the flying of flags outside your home. Best to check before flying one outside and if your council has such a ban, try and get it revoked.

He ends his article with this:

Such reform — the changing of certain fairly central theological principles — will not be easy to achieve. It will be a long, hard road for Islam to get its house in order so that it can co-exist peacefully with the rest of society in the 21st century.

There is a poll for this article and so far 92% of readers agree with him.

Germany - Pentagon to give up bases

File this under "Watch out what you wish for".

The US army said on Friday it would hand over 13 of its German bases to Berlin, some perhaps as early as next year, as part of the Pentagon's gradual draw-down of 50,000 troops stationed in Europe.

The army's European command said the preparations to shut the bases would affect 6,100 soldiers and 11,000 family members over the course of the next year. Another 1,000 army employees and 1,000 German workers would also be hit.

That's a total of 19,000 people; 17,000 military people will leave and 2,000 people will lose their jobs. But the loss to the Germany ecomony will be far greater. It takes roughtly 3 people to "support" each of these 19,000 people; support jobs such as local merchants, restaurants and landlords. That would equate to around 57,000 lost jobs; lost jobs that Germany can ill afford.

Watch for the demonstrations over this.

Islam - Stopping Preachers Of Hate

Since Muslims themselves refuse to do it, somebody has to.

France ejects 12 Islamic 'preachers of hate'

The gulf between British and French treatment of preachers of hatred and violence was thrown sharply into focus yesterday when France announced the summary expulsion of a dozen Islamists between now and the end of August.

A tough new anti-terrorism package was unveiled by Nicolas Sarkozy, the interior minister and a popular centre-Right politician.

Nicolas Sarkozy: 'We have to act against radical preachers'

His proposals reflect French determination to act swiftly against extremists in defiance of the human rights lobby, which is noticeably less vocal in France than in Britain.

Imams and their followers who fuel anti-western feeling among impressionable young French Muslims will be rounded up and returned to their countries of origin, most commonly in France's case to its former north African colonies.

Mr Sarkozy also revealed that as many as 12 French mosques associated with provocative anti-western preaching were under surveillance. Imams indulging in inflammatory rhetoric will be expelled even if their religious status is recognised by mainstream Muslim bodies.

Those who have assumed French citizenship will not be protected from deportation. Mr Sarkozy said he will reactivate measures, "already available in our penal code but simply not used", to strip undesirables of their adopted nationality. "We have to act against radical preachers capable of influencing the youngest and most weak-minded," Mr Sarkozy told the French daily Le Parisien.

The first to be caught in the new round of expulsions is an Algerian, Rena Ameuroud, whose brother Abderraham was jailed in France earlier this year for his part in a jihadist training exercise in the Fontainebleau forest south of Paris. He faces immediate deportation for allegedly urging fellow-worshippers at a Parisian mosque to engage in "holy war".

And in Pakistan.

Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf says all foreign students at madrassas, or religious schools, some 1,400 pupils, must leave the country.

Here is what the preachers of hate are saying. Be sure and follow the link to the video.

You can see some of the results of these teachings of hate here. Britain saw it up close and personal on 7/7 and 7/21.

While in America, one such preacher of hate was recently sentenced to 75 years in jail.

Italy too is adopting laws against these preachers of hate. But Italy is going further than most by increasing the penalties for wearing the burqa in public.

Lawmakers on Thursday and Friday added some new amendments to the package approved by the Cabinet, including one increasing the penalties to up to two years in prison and a €2,000 fine for anyone who purposely hides their features by covering their faces in public -- whether they're wearing burqa or a helmet. The previous law called for a maximum of one year in prison and €1,000 in jail.

You will note Italy's new laws were supported by everyone "except for senators with the Green Party and two communist parties". Communists and terrorists, the Left's strange befellows.

All of this seems to have embolden women in Pakistan to stand up for their rights.

And the war goes on.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Italy Senate approves terror laws

But look who voted against the measures.

The package passed easily and with a large majority, earning the senators praise from their speaker. Most opposition lawmakers supported the new rules, except for senators with the Green Party and two communist parties.

Communists and terrorists, the Left's strange befellows.

David Horowitz explores these links in his book "Unholy Alliance". Here is what an Amazon Top 100 reviewer had to say about the book:

In this revealing work, Horowitz explores the hellish marriage between IslamoFascists and the highly networked American Left. These ideologues who once sided with the USSR and other repressive communist regimes have now wholeheartedly embraced radical Islam.

Their agenda emanates from the extreme left but their influence extends far beyond, also encompassing liberal discourse and the mass media. It seems that this radical agenda has now succeeded in capturing the heart and soul of the Democratic Party.

Unholy Alliance exposes and dissects the Left in fine detail, seeking for answers to why it has made an alliance with a reactionary and oppressive religious ideology. Also why it tried to undermine the War on Terror by opposing the liberation of Afghanistan and Iraq. The fracture of the consensus in American politics is another topic discussed here.

Part One, A Defining Moment, takes the investigation from 9/11, the response of the Administration, and the Left's response to that. It shows how the Left declared war on the War on Terror and started organising demonstrations long before any action was taken, becoming the vanguard for Saddam and the Jihad terrorists.

Part Two explores the Mind of the Left in a series that includes communist forerunners, the transition after the collapse of communism, the New Left, the Utopian Idea, the Nihilist Left and the Anti-American Cult. Throughout the book, prominent personalities are highlighted. Among them is Noam Chomsky, discussed with reference to a New Yorker profile where this nasty professor's malice and distortion of historical facts are pointed out. Chomsky's less strident but equally deceptive intellectual twin Howard Zinn also features. His plodding bestseller A People's History of the USA is a prime example of anti-American propaganda.

Britain - Italy Arrests Fourth Terrorist

Of course The BBC merely calls him a bomber.

Italian police have arrested the fourth man wanted in the UK over the failed attacks in London on 21 July.

Osman Hussain - a Somali-born British citizen - was staying at his brother's flat in Rome when he was detained.

What's not addressed in this article is how did Hussain get out of Britain when all exits were supposed to be under close surveillance.

Interestingly, the BBC offer this opinion in the article:

No link has yet been established between the 7 July attacks and the 21 July incidents.

You'll note that statement and this article are not attributed to anyone and therefore must be the BBC's opinion.

While The Times (UK) reports:

The nature of the recovered devices provides concrete evidence of a direct link between the July 7 suicide squad, whose four bombs killed 56 people, and the July 21 unit whose four devices failed to detonate.

A security source said: "This completes the circle. The bombmaker used the same constituents in the devices used in the fatal first attacks and the abortive attempts a fortnight later."

See here also.

Of course as my ciritcs like to point out, the BBC likes to put forth differing opinions from different people. But as you can see from this article the BBC are clearly injecting their own opinion into the news story.

While I on the other hand, maintain the BBC is suppose to be a news organization and report the facts. Opinions are suppose to be on the "opinion" page.

Pakistan - Women Stand Up To Muslims

Good for them!

MORE than a hundred tribal women have taken a stand against creeping fundamentalism in northwest Pakistan by declaring themselves candidates in local elections that Muslim leaders had decreed a male-only preserve.

Despite one in three local government seats being designated for women candidates, the governing Islamic alliance has ruled that women should neither contest the polls nor vote. It has warned women that they will be forcibly barred from polling stations and face hefty fines if they try to cast their votes.

Britain - Animal Rights Group Attacks Homeless

Just when you think the animal rights movement can't get any sicker comes this report.

THE BIG ISSUE magazine announced yesterday that it would no longer publish advertisements for a major pharmaceutical research company because one of its vendors was attacked by an animal rights activist.

The magazine, which provides employment for the homeless, complained that its streetsellers had been targeted by activists campaigning against Covance, a clinical testing company. [...]

The latest incident took place when a vendor was selling copies of the magazine in Liverpool city centre. He was approached by an activist who shouted abuse and then punched him in the face.

It's bad enough that we've got Muslim terrorist running around blowing up innocent people and now some animal rights nuts attack a homeless person.

If pressured by these animal rights groups, will the Big Issue stop publishing advertisements for fishing equipment or fishing lodges next? How about KFC or Bernard Matthews advertising? Where does it end?

America - Islamic Leaders' "Fatwa" is Bogus

And Counter Terrorism has the proof.

This morning a group of American Islamic leaders held a press conference to announce a fatwa, or Islamic religious ruling, against “terrorism and extremism.” An organization called the Fiqh Council of North America (FCNA) issued the fatwa, and the Council on American - Islamic Relations (CAIR) organized the press conference, stating that several major U.S. Muslim groups endorsed the fatwa.

In fact, the fatwa is bogus. Nowhere does it condemn the Islamic extremism ideology that has spawned Islamic terrorism. It does not renounce nor even acknowledge the existence of an Islamic jihadist culture that has permeated mosques and young Muslims around the world. It does not renounce Jihad let alone admit that it has been used to justify Islamic terrorist acts. It does not condemn by name any Islamic group or leader. In short, it is a fake fatwa designed merely to deceive the American public into believing that these groups are moderate. In fact, officials of both organizations have been directly linked to and associated with Islamic terrorist groups and Islamic extremist organizations. One of them is an unindicted co-conspirator in a current terrorist case; another previous member was a financier to Al-Qaeda.

I spoke with Judea Pearl, father of murdered journalist Daniel Pearl who told me that the fatwa was “vacuous because it does not name the perpetrators of Islamic terrorist theologies and leaders of Islamic movements like Yousef Al Qaradawi, Osama Bin Laden, Ayman Al Zawahari, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc.” Pearl told me that these groups are “trying to perpetrate a deception on the American public.”

Officials of both groups have been linked to various terrorist organizations:

The Chairman of the Fiqh Council, Taha Jaber Al-Alwani, is an unindicted co-conspirator in the case against Sami al-Arian, the alleged North American leader of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, whose trial began in June 2005 in Tampa, Florida. Mr. Alwani has been named in court documents as an official of several entities in northern Virginia suspected of being connected to terrorist financing. Documents released in the Al Arian trial show that Alwani funded the Islamic Jihad front groups in Tampa.

Read the whole thing and they provide this link:

For a comprehensive background paper on the links to Islamic terrorist and extremist groups, please click here.

You can also read The Case Against CAIR.

It's also revealing to note that CAIR has recently dropped almost all of its libel charges against Anti-CAIR. The fact that CAIR no longer contests these accusations speaks volumes and should put a stop to MSM referring to them as an Islamic civil rights group who speaks for moderate Muslims.

America - Jihad Jane Against Democracy

Jihad Jane Fonda will be unable to hide her anti-Democracy stance now.

Eight million brave Iraqi citizens defied Muslim terrorists and voted for democracy for the first time in their lives. Their newly democratically elected government has asked coalition forces to remain in Iraq while they build their new democracy.

The coalition forces, led by the democratically elected government of America, have agreed to assist Iraq in her time of need.

But for Jihad Jane (formerly Hanoi Jane) Fonda the democratic will of the people means nothing.

For my part, I'm glad Jihad Jane is doing her anti-war tour. She has sorely miss-judged the mood of America this time and this may well be her last tour and for that we can be thankful.

America - CAIR Founded by "Islamic Terrorists"?

Daniel Pipes has a great update on "The Council on American-Islamic Relations, Inc., filed a defamation lawsuit against Andrew Whitehead, of Anti-CAIR (or ACAIR), a grass-roots project whose name explains its mission: to expose the largest, most vocal, and dangerous Islamist organization in North America."

Seems CAIR now realizes that Whitehead can prove most, if not all, of his claims. That's great news or us and very bad news for CAIR. It will be interesting to see if MSM report on their, go to, so called moderate Islamic civil rights group's, predicament.

Be sure and read Pipes article as he explains why CAIR dropped most of their claims against Whitehead but here are the accusations they no longer contest.

[CAIR is an] organization founded by Hamas supporters….
CAIR was started by Hamas members….
CAIR … was founded by Islamic terrorists.
[CAIR] is partially funded by terrorists…
CAIR has proven links to… Islamic terrorists.
CAIR is a fundamentalist organization dedicated to the overthrow of the United States Constitution and the installation of an Islamic theocracy in America.
CAIR wishes nothing more than the implementation of a SHARIA law in American.
[CAIR seeks to replace the government of the United States] with an Islamist theocracy using our own Constitution as protection....
CAIR is here to make radical Islam the dominant religion in the United States and to convert our country into an Islamic theocracy along the lines of Iran.

The fact that CAIR no longer contests these accusations speaks volumes and should put a stop to MSM referring to them as an Islamic civil rights group who speaks for moderate Muslims.

Britain - The Left's Strange Befellows

Harry's Place is on a roll today.

I would add to Lindsey German's description:

"Our die-in was held to symbolize the tens of thousands who have died in Iraq since the war began. We are also calling for the troops to be withdrawn," said Lindsey German, of the Stop The War Coalition. Besides disgraced George Galloway's RESPECT London mayoral candidate, who is Lindsey German? A communist.

Kate Hudson, chairwoman of the CND, said that the rally was to step up demands that the "occupation of Iraq should end." Kate Hudson is vice chair of The Communist University.

In fact all of the anti-war groups are just communist front organizations.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Islam - Muslim Soul-searching?

Harry's Place has some interesting information.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Islam - The Muslim mind is on fire

That's according to Youssef M. Ibrahim.

DUBAI -- The world of Islam is on fire. Indeed, the Muslim mind is on fire. Above all, the West is now ready to take both of them on.

The latest reliable report confirms that on average 33 Iraqis die every day, executed by Iraqis and foreign jihadis and suicide bombers, not by US or British soldiers. In fact, fewer than ever US or British soldiers are dying since the invasion more than two years ago. Instead, we now watch on television hundreds of innocent Iraqis lying without limbs, bleeding in the streets dead or wounded for life. If this is jihad someone got his religious education completely upside down.

Palestine is on fire, too, with Palestinian armed groups fighting one another - Hamas against Fatah and all against the Palestinian Authority. All have rendered Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas impotent and have diminished the world's respect and sympathy for Palestinian sufferings.

A couple of weeks ago London was on fire as Pakistani and other Muslims with British citizenship blew up tube stations in the name of Islam. Al Qaeda in Europe or one of its franchises proclaimed proudly the killing of 54 and wounding 700 innocent citizens was done to "avenge Islam" and Muslims.

Madrid was on fire, too, last year, when Muslim jihadis blew up train stations killing 160 people and wounding a few thousands.

The excuse in all the above cases was the war in Iraq, but let us not forget that in September 2001, long before Iraq, Osama Bin Laden proudly announced that he ordered the killing of some 3,000 in the United States, in the name of avenging Islam. Let us not forget that the killing began a long time before the invasion of Iraq.

Indeed, jihadis have been killing for a decade in the name of Islam. They killed innocent tourists and natives in Morocco and Egypt, in Africa, in Indonesia and in Yemen, all done in the name of Islam by Muslims who say that they are better than all other Muslims. They killed in India, in Thailand and are now talking of killing in Germany and Denmark and so on. There were attacks with bombs that killed scores inside Shia and Sunni mosques, inside churches and inside synagogues in Turkey and Tunisia, with Muslim preachers saying that it is okay to kill Jews and Christians - the so called infidels.

Read the whole thing but here is his conclusion.

What is more important to remember is this: When the West did unite after World War II to beat communism, the long Cold War began without pity. They took no prisoners. They all stood together, from the United States to Norway, from Britain to Spain, from Belgium to Switzerland. And they did bring down the biggest empire. Communism collapsed.

I fear those naïve Muslims who think that they are beating the West have now achieved their worst crime of all. The West is now going to war against not only Muslims, but also, sadly, Islam as a religion.

In this new cold and hot war, car bombs and suicide bombers here and there will be no match for the arsenal that those Westerners are putting together - an arsenal of laws, intelligence pooling, surveillance by satellites, armies of special forces and indeed, allies inside the Arab world who are tired of having their lives disrupted by demented so-called jihadis or those bearded preachers who, under the guise of preaching, do little to teach and much to ignite the fire, those who know little about Islam and nothing about humanity.

See here for what Muslims are taught on video and on the Internet.

Britain - Menezes Not Wearing Bulky Jacket

What do you do when the facts don't support your story? In the case of The Guardian, you just make them up as you go along. Watch.

Jean Charles de Menezes, the Brazilian shot dead in the head, was not wearing a heavy jacket that might have concealed a bomb, and did not jump the ticket barrier when challenged by armed plainclothes police, his cousin said yesterday.

But his cousin wasn't there so how would he know.

Another cousin, Patricia da Silva Armani, 21, said he was in Britain legally to work and study, giving him no reason to fear the police.

The investigation has a long way to go but it turns out Menezes may not have been in the country legally and that would explain why he ran when challenged by police.

Scotland Yard initially claimed he wore a bulky jacket and jumped the barrier when police identified themselves and ordered him to stop.

Nowhere in this article does the Guardian show were Scotland Yard changed their version of events in regards to the jacket and barrier. So why the "initially claimed" reference to the jacket and barrier? The Guardian moves from the jacket and barrier, to the police's changed position of Menezes connection to the terrorists in the same paragraph, in hopes you'll think the police now say he wasn't wearing a bulky jacket and didn't leap the barrier. But that's not what the police said.

The Guardian tries to pull a rabbit out of hat here. They start off saying Sir Ian Blair claimed Menezes was linked to the terrorists and the next day, after investigating, Blair said he wasn't connected to them. Nothing sinister about that.

Well, it is the Guardian after all.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Islam - "Islam is a terror organization."

That's the conclusion of Michael Graham and he said so on his radio show.

And the reason Islam has itself become a terrorist organization is that it cannot address its own role in this violence. It cannot cast out the murderers from its members. I know it can't, because "moderate" Muslim imams keep telling me they can't. "We have no control over these radical young men," one London imam moaned to the local papers.

Can't kick 'em out of your faith? Can't excommunicate them? Apparently Islam does not allow it.

Islam cannot say that terrorism is forbidden to Muslims. I know this because when the world's Muslim nations gathered after 9/11 to state their position on terrorism, they couldn't even agree on what it was. How could they, when the world's largest terror sponsors at the time were Iran and Saudi Arabia — both governed by Islamic law.

Islam - What Muslims Are Taught Video

Go here and click on the video link and see what Muslims are being taught.

And here is what they are taught online.

Question :

If a Muslim eats or drinks with a Christian or any kaafir [unbelievers], is that considered to be haraam? If it is haraam, then what do we say about the aayah (interpretation of the meaning):

“The food (slaughtered cattle, eatable animals) of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) is lawful to you and yours is lawful to them [al-Maa’idah 5:5]?

Answer :

Praise be to Allaah.

Eating with a kaafir is not haraam if it is necessary to do so, or if that serves some sharÂ’i interest. But they should not be taken as friends, so you should not eat with them for no sharÂ’i reason or for no sharÂ’i purpose. You should not sit and chat with them and laugh with them. But if there is a reason to do so, such as eating with a guest, or to invite them to Islam or to guide them to the truth, or for some other sharÂ’i reason, then it is OK.

The fact that the food of the People of the Book is halaal for us does not mean that we have to take them as friends and companions. It does not mean that we should eat and drink with them for no reason and for no purpose. And Allaah is the source of strength.

You see? Islam has not been hijacked by radicals, this is what Islam preaches to its people everyday around the world.

And people wonder why Muslims persecute every other religion.

Britain - Key Terror Suspect Captured

The Times (UK) reports.

The Los Angeles Times reported today that Haroon Rashid Aswat, a 30-year-old of Indian descent who grew up in West Yorkshire, was arrested last week and is being held in Lusaka, where both British and US anti-terrorism investigators have travelled.

British officials confirmed the report, but would not immediately elaborate. A Foreign Office spokeswoman said: "We are seeking consular access to a British national who is reported to be in custody in Zambia."

Aswat, whose associations with al-Qaeda date back ten years, is believed to have entered Briton about two weeks before July 7 on a ferry into Felixstowe, and to have flown out from Heathrow hours before the four suicide bombers killed 52 rush-hour commuters on three Tube trains and a bus.

Investigators have sought him since discovering that he made up to 20 calls from his mobile phone to two of the bombers. Intelligence sources told The Times that during his stay in Britain Aswat visited the home towns of all four bombers as well as selecting targets in London.

After all that's happened, the Times still can't call them terrorists or the attacks terror attacks, there just bombings.

Britain - Menezes's Visa Had Expired

two years ago according to the BBC news ticker running at the top of their webpage. They promise more later.

Is that why he was running from the police?

Meanwhile here's a report on how the BBC created the impression that there was widespread outrage in Brazil over Menezes' death.

UPDATE

The BBC report is now up and it seems Menezes's indefinite leave stamp to remain in the UK was forged.

The department's statement said Mr Menezes arrived in the UK on 13 March 2002 and was granted entry for six months as a visitor.

He applied for leave to remain as a student, which was approved and he was granted leave to remain until 30 June 2003.

"We have no record of any further application or correspondence from Mr Menezes.

"We have seen a copy of Mr Menezes' passport containing a stamp apparently giving him indefinite leave to remain in the UK.

"On investigation, this stamp was not one that was in use by the Immigration and Nationality Directorate on the date given."

That might explain why he ran from police after they ordered him to stop.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thailand - Muslim Ethnic Cleansing

That's what's missing from this BBC report.

At least nine people have died in attacks over the last 48 hours.

They include a former policeman, a civil servant and a village leader.

The Thai authorities blame the violence, which flared up early last year, on a mix of Muslim militants and criminal gangs.

Shootings and bomb attacks have become a daily occurrence in the majority Muslim south.

Here is what the BBC isn't telling you.

In this area, in addition to security personnel, civilians unconnected to government authority are subject to attacks on a daily basis, many of them motorcycle hit and run attacks and beheadings designed to terrorize the Buddhist population into leaving the Muslim dominated region. Regional police statistics indicated over 200 deaths and 600 injuries over the first six months of 2005.

Now, why do you suppose the BBC didn't point that out?

And let me guess, as soon as America gets out of Iraq the ethnic cleansing of Buddhist and beheadings by Muslims will stop, right?

America - Yemeni al-Qaeda backer jailed

Great news!

A Yemeni cleric who once called himself Osama Bin Laden's spiritual adviser has been sentenced to a maximum 75 years in prison in New York.

Sheikh Mohammed Ali Hassan al-Moayad was convicted on charges of conspiring to support the al-Qaeda network and Palestinian militant group Hamas.

At a meeting with two FBI informants in Germany, he was recorded promising to funnel more than $2m (£1.1m) to Hamas.

While many on the left try and blame those on the right for radicalizing Muslims, note this:

Sheikh Ali Hassan al-Moayad, former imam of a mosque in the Yemeni capital of San'a, and his alleged assistant, Mohammed Mohsen Yahya Zayed, both told Magistrate Judge Joan Azrack that they understand the charges against them.

Muslims themselves are to blame for radicalizing Muslims.

America - The Left Admit They Are Wrong

Nice to see those on the left admit they are wrong. Scroll down to this:

CROW EATEN HERE: This is a horror. In a column written June 28, I asserted that more Iraqis (civilians) had now been killed in this war than had been killed by Saddam Hussein over his 24-year rule. WRONG. Really, really wrong.

The only problem is figuring out by how large a factor I was wrong. I had been keeping an eye on civilian deaths in Iraq for a couple of months, waiting for the most conservative estimates to creep over 20,000, which I had fixed in my mind as the number of Iraqi civilians Saddam had killed.

The high-end estimate of Iraqi civilian deaths in this war is 100,000, according to a Johns Hopkins University study published in the British medical journal The Lancet last October, but I was sticking to the low-end, most conservative estimates because I didn't want to be accused of exaggeration. [The much discredited Lancet report, that is]

Ha! I could hardly have been more wrong, no matter how you count Saddam's killing of civilians. According to Human Rights Watch, Hussein killed several hundred thousand of his fellow citizens.

The left need to admit they are wrong more often, they usually are.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Britain - Iraq Not Cause of Attacks: Proof

Muslims, George Galloway, The Guardian and many others are screaming that London was attacked because of Britain's involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq. You want proof that is a lie? Ok, here you go. Now before you read this, remember, the Sept. 11th terrorists attacks on America came before, not after, both Afghanistan and Iraq.

Big Ben 'was September 11 target'

LONDON, England -- Suicide hijackers intended to target London's Big Ben on September 11, according to a British terrorism expert.

A group of al Qaeda operatives were at Heathrow Airport waiting to take over a jet and crash it into the Houses of Parliament, according to author Rohan Gunaratna. [...]

He said the alleged attacker, who was arrested in India, had attended flying schools in Britain, Australia and the U.S., and received money from al Qaeda-connected sources.

So, what became of him?

He confessed and got 7 years in prison.

BOMBAY (AFX) - An Indian court has jailed a man for plotting to crash passenger jets into the House of Commons and the Tower Bridge in London on Sept 11, 2001, Agence France-Presse reported.

The court here handed down a seven-year prison term to Mohammed Afroze, who had also confessed to plotting with a group of Al-Qaeda operatives to attack Melbourne's Rialto Towers and the Indian parliament in 2001.

The next time some leftoid, anti-war type, Muslim or anyone else tries to tell you that London was attacked because of Britain's involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq, ask them what was the motive to blow up London before those two wars?

Be sure and email this to your friends. Better yet email it to your enemies.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Britain - Terrorists Not Muslims

That's according to Mohammed Naseem, "Birmingham's most prominent Muslim leader".

Mohammed Naseem, Birmingham's most prominent Muslim leader, claimed yesterday there was nothing to prove Muslims carried out bomb attacks on London on July 7 and 21.

The comments of the chairman of Birmingham Central Mosque are surprising given the wealth of evidence, including DNA matches and CCTV images, linking at least eight young Muslim men to the outrages. However, his views are held by a significant number of British Muslims. Some blame the US and Israel for terrorist attacks such as September 11, revealing a deep distrust of the British authorities.

Not to mention their family and friends statements that they were devout Muslims.

And why shouldn't a "significant number of British Muslims" feel that way? There mosques preach that to them all the time and the BBC continually fails to call Muslim terrorists "terrorists".

Even Iqbal Sacranie, general secretary of the Muslim Council of Britain, who, in an attempt at Muslim appeasement (which London's terrorists attacks shows, failed) was recently knighted, says there is no such thing as a Muslim terrorist and he wants to make it a crime to say so.

'There is no such thing as an Islamic terrorist. This is deeply offensive. Saying Muslims are terrorists would be covered by this provision'.

Mr Naseem denied there was any convincing evidence the September 11 attacks on New York had been carried out by the al-Qaeda terrorist organisation. He said: "Muslims across the world know of no organization called al-Qaeda. That information comes from the CIA."

Of course Muslims know of no such organization, the BBC told them it was all a "myth", "fantasy" and "illusion".

In a new series, the Power of Nightmares explores how the idea that we are threatened by a hidden and organized terrorist network is an illusion.

It is a myth that has spread unquestioned through politics, the security services and the international media.

And why shouldn't Muslims believe the information comes from the CIA? The BBC also told them that.

At the heart of the story are two groups: the American neo-conservatives and the radical Islamists.

The result of the BBC's dangerous propaganda?

"Mr Naseem said Muslims had lost faith in anti-terrorist police and the security services."

Now that British Muslims have attacked mainland Britain and there is evidence that al Qaeda was behind the attacks, the BBC, now with egg on their face, decide that in fact such organizations do exist and are a danger to the West.

Thanks for nothing.

Britain - The Guardian Should Apologize

Scott Burgess's expose of the Guardian raises questions about other articles their reporter, Dilpazier Aslam, wrote.

For example, Aslam claims that he had an exclusive interview with Shabina Begum, the Luton high school girl who won the right to wear the hijab to school. Begum’s brother who is a member of Hizb ut Tahrir brought the suit and you may recall it was Cherie Blair who represented the girl.

Aslam wrote a glowing report of the girl’s victory.

In an exclusive interview with the Guardian, Shabina Begum, 16, described the court of appeal verdict against Denbigh high school in Luton as a victory for all Muslims "who wish to preserve their identity and values despite prejudice and bigotry".
[never mind preserving Britain's identity and values]

He also claims she said “the landmark ruling would ‘give hope and strength to other Muslim women’.”

In light of recent events, one has to wonder if there was an interview at all and whether Aslam made the whole thing up.

Given that Aslam and Begum’s brother are both members of Aizb ut Tahrir and Aslam’s membership wasn’t revealed in the article (just as in the case Scott exposed), shouldn’t the Guardian retract this story about Begum? Or at least issue a clarification or correction?

The Guardian article I refer to is here.

I posted about it here.

I've emailed The Guardian and I'll let you know if I get a reply.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Britain - The last days of 'Londonistan'

Not if Mr Blair's wife, Cherie Booth, a lawyer, has her way.

She told a conference in Malaysia that Britain should not take measures that would "cheapen our right to call ourselves a civilised country".

Mrs. Blair fails to understand that Britain is at war and in times of war civil liberties may suffer temporarily so that the "civilized country" can survive.

It is because of actions like Mrs. Blair's that got us into this mess in the first place.

Remember it was Cherie who won the right for the Luton high school girl to wear the hijab even though the girl didn't want to wear it, no longer attends the school and none of the Muslim girls at the school want to wear it either.

Then who instigated the lawsuit in the first place and why?

Here's who and why.

The lawyer for the student was Cherie Blair, the wife of the prime minister. The student won the suit against the school, and it was revealed that the lawsuit had been instigated by her brother was a member of Hizb ut Tahrir and that the media attention had been orchestrated by the group in an attempt to force a Taliban form of shari'a law into the public school system.

So just who is Hizb ut Tahrir?

As you read this BBC article from Aug. 2003, note the prophetic statement in the first paragraph.

An influential British Muslim has told Newsnight that unless action is taken against an extreme Muslim group operating in the United Kingdom then we could soon be experiencing terrorist attacks along the lines of those in Baghdad and Jerusalem.

Hizb Ut Tahrir or HT is an Islamic splinter group, which is banned in many countries around the world. It operates freely in Britain.

But Newsnight has discovered that its website promotes racism and anti-Semitic hatred, calls suicide bombers martyrs, and urges Muslims to kill Jewish people.

And Cherie Blair represented this girl on their behalf.

But the tangled web doesn't end there.

The Guardian reported on the girls victory.

A schoolgirl who yesterday won the right to wear the Islamic shoulder-to-toe dress in school said the landmark ruling would "give hope and strength to other Muslim women".

In an exclusive interview with the Guardian, Shabina Begum, 16, described the court of appeal verdict against Denbigh high school in Luton as a victory for all Muslims "who wish to preserve their identity and values despite prejudice and bigotry". [Never mind preserving Britain's identity and values, eh?]

After a two-year campaign by Shabina, Lord Justice Brooke found her former school had acted against her right to express her religion by excluding her because she insisted on wearing the jilbab. The ruling, overturning a high court decision which dismissed her application for a judicial review last year, will affect every school in the country.

Who was the Guardian reporter that got "an exclusive interview" with Begum and wrote such a glowing report about her? Why none other than Dilpazier Aslam. Uh? Who's he?

Dilpazier Aslam is the reporter who wrote a sympathetic article about the London terrorists and who the Guardian just fired after the blogger Scott Burgess exposed him as a writer for their magazine and a member of, wait for it, Hizb Ut Tahrir!

Hizb ut Tahrir, the group that promotes racism and anti-Semitic hatred, calls suicide bombers martyrs, and urges Muslims to kill Jewish people, is being aided by people from Britain's press to the Prime Minister's wife.

Now do you see why London is ridiculed as "Londonistan"?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Britain - British Terrorist Arrested

Of course the Financial Times is careful not to call him a terrorist, preferring instead to call him a "member of a home-grown suicide bomb cell".

Now comes Britain's greatest dilemma. Britain knows that there are more bombers out there on the lose who may be planning more attacks. How far to you go to get information out of this terrorist that might save an untold number of lives?

The first arrest of a suspected member of a home-grown suicide bomb cell offers investigators the clearest opportunity to gain knowledge of a British-based network which has so far eluded police. Investigators also will want to question Mr Omar about the suspected terror cell and the would-be bombers' support networks and financing, along with possible links to the attacks of July 7, which killed more than 50 people in London.[...]

He said police were still hunting Muktar Said-Ibrahim, suspected of trying to set off a bomb on a No 26 bus in east London, and two other would-be bombers who are still to be positively identified. A suspect package was found at the Birmingham address, prompting evacuation of the immediate area, police said.[...]

With the other would-be bombers still at large police have warned of the danger of further attacks.

And the clock is ticking. Alfred Hitchcock couldn't have written a more sinister plot.

UPDATE

The Mirror reports that Yasin Hassan Omar may have been on his way to explode another bomb.

BOMB suspect Yasin Hassan Omar (left) yelled at police "Get back or I'll take you with me" as they stormed his hideout, it was claimed yesterday.

He was wearing a rucksack.

Do the others still have bombs? Since the bombs were made from readily obtainable, off the shelf materials, could the terrorists still at large be making more at this very minute?

How far do you go to get Omar to talk before the other terrorists murder more innocent people?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Britain - Pictures of Unexploded Bomb

Here is a picture and an xray of one of the unexploded bombs the terrorists used in the London bombing. Note the nails.

Meanwhile, CNN is reporting that more than 12 unexploded bombs were found in the terrorist's car.

LONDON, England (CNN) -- More than a dozen unexploded bombs were found in a car at Luton train station in north London five days after the deadly July 7 terror attack on London's transit system, two sources familiar with the investigation told CNN.

And ABC News has more photographs including pictures of some July 7th unexploded bombs.

Why so many bombs and so few bombers? Are there more bombers out there than we are aware of?

Britain - Dangerous Biased Media

Next to Muslim terrorism, Britain's biased media is the most dangerous challenge facing Britons.

Due to its sheer reach of viewers and listeners, the BBC poses the most danger of all. If you've never visited Biased BBC you owe it to yourself to do so. Be sure and read the comments section as there is a lot of spirited debate from both sides of the Atlantic. I also recommend The Case Against the BBC which contains links that document the BBC's bias.

The American Expat is another blogger keeping tabs on the BBC's bias.

The Daily Ablution documents the bias coming from the Guardian and Independent newspapers. Scott recently caught the Guardian knowingly employing a member of a terrorist organization to write articles sympathetic to the London terrorists.

There are several other blogs dedicated to exposing the danger posed by the Biased British media. They are listed on the top left of my blog under "UK Media Watch".

The media is one of the primary weapons in this war on terror and if we are going to win this war, we must fight the bias that is pervasive in Britain's media.

UN 'to protect children from war'

The BBC reports.

The UN Security Council has unanimously approved a resolution aimed at protecting children in armed conflict.

The council agreed to monitor more than 50 governments and rebel groups accused of violating children's rights and punish those who did not stop.

Who's missing from the BBC list? The Palestinians naturally.

And how does the UN plan to punish those that don't comply?

The council agreed to consider targeted measures if the governments or rebel groups did not make enough progress. These could include travel restrictions, arms embargos, a ban on military assistance or financial restrictions.

Yeah, like that worked out so well in the UN's Iraq oil for food scandal.

Now, I wonder why the BBC didn't mention these:

toddler2todd1

Om Mohammed helps her twelve-year-old son Abu Ali with a toy suicide bomber belt he fashioned on his own. "I hope to be a Martyr...I hope when I get 14 or 15 to explode myself."

Now you know why.

America - Islam On Trial

We are assured over and over that Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance. We are told that acts of violence or racism by Muslims are committed by militants or radicals and that so called moderate Muslims would never do such things. Then how do they account for this:

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Jurors in the terrorism conspiracy trial of a former college professor saw a 1991 video Tuesday in which he called Jews ``monkeys and pigs'' and urged Palestinians not to give up ``one foot of our sacred land.''

Before Sami Al-Arian spoke on the video, a group of children at the Chicago event chanted ``death to Israel.'' The jury viewed the video with English subtitles since everyone at the event spoke in Arabic.

A few things I'd like to point out.

First, notice it says "a group of children", plural, chanting "death to Israel". Where do you suppose they learned that? The Koran teaches Muslims to hate Jews, that's where.

Second, Arain was a college professor with a Phd., how many young minds did he poison while teaching?

The left are busy defending Arian but there is ample evidence against him.

Al-Arian served as one of the original founders of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), a designated terrorist organization. PIJ, according to the State Department, is “committed to…the destruction of Israel through holy war.” PIJ has been responsible for numerous terrorist attacks, including suicide bombings, resulting in the deaths of civilians.
[...]

ICP also invited several speakers who could not attend the conferences, including Fathi Shikaki, at the time the leader of PIJ, and Abdullah Azzam, Osama bin Laden’s ideological mentor and founder of al-Qaeda. Al-Arian stated of Azzam at a conference, “Azzam also sends his salutations to the conference, and he has not been able to be with us due to the political conditions in Afghanistan.”
[...]

Sami Al-Arian has actively fundraised for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. In 1995 raid on Al-Arian’s residence, the FBI found a letter written by Al-Arian shortly after a PIJ suicide bombing that left 18 people dead in Israel. The letter solicits funding for “the jihad effort in Palestine.” Al-Arian, according to an FBI translation of the Arabic letter, praised the terrorist attack, writing, “The latest operation carried out by the two mujahidin (warriors), who were martyred for the sake of God, is the best evidence of what the believing few can do in the face of Arab and Islamic collapse before the Zionist enemy and of the still-burning firebrand of faith, steadfastness and challenge.”

On a videotape of a 1991 conference in Cleveland, Ohio, seized by FBI agents, al-Arian is introduced as “the president of the Islamic Committee for Palestine, and a short briefing about the Islamic Committee for Palestine, it is the active arm of the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine, and we like to call it the Islamic Committee for Palestine here for security reasons.” After being introduced, Al-Arian stated, “Let us continue the protests. Let us damn America. Let us damn Israel. Let us damn their allies until death.”

Remember the children chanting "death to Israel"? Here's more on that:

In another seized videotape, Al-Arian delivered an impassioned speech before a rapt audience at a high school in Chicago in 1991. Al-Arian referred to Jews as “monkeys and pigs” and stated, “Mohammad is leader. The Qu’ran is our constitution. Jihad is our path. Victory to Islam. Death to Israel. Revolution! Revolution! Until Victory! Rolling, rolling to Jerusalem.”

And this is happening all around the world everyday.

Wake up people, we are at war.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Britain - Terrorists Rearmed

The Times (UK) reports.

THE fugitive bombers who bungled their attacks on London’s transport system last week returned to their secret cache of explosives to rearm themselves for another assault, Scotland Yard believes.

Immediately after the bombings up to three of the men who tried to blow up three Tube trains and a bus were seen by a neighbour at the ninth-floor flat in New Southgate, North London, that they were using as a bomb factory.

Witnesses claim that some of the suspects made a second trip the next day to the flat where police yesterday found chemicals and bombmaking materials.

And how many times have we heard this:

He [Ibrahim] was jailed by Luton Crown Court for five years when he was 17 for being part of a gang that carried out a series of muggings at knifepoint at Hertfordshire railway stations. One former friend said that he turned to radical Islam while in prison.

When are they going to plug that loophole?

Again, how many times have we heard this:

He qualified for early release in 1998 and is then alleged to have met Richard Reid, the jailed “shoe bomber”, at two London mosques. Reid, who was also a petty criminal, tried to blow up an airliner over the Atlantic in 2001.

That's Hamza the Hook's mosque and he's in jail running his website and carrying on his conversion of Muslims to the dark side.

Detectives found “a substantial amount” of explosives in the towerblock at Curtis House, in bins and in a lock-up garage on the estate.

So much explosive has been discovered at different sites since the original July 7 attacks that killed 52 people, that police cannot be sure how much the cell possesses.

So, do you think Britain has finally awoken from her slumber and will start to fight back in this war against Islamic Nazis? Think again.

While Tony Blair is busy enacting new, tougher war time measures to deal with terrorists, his wife Cherie is busy fighting those measures.

"What the case makes clear is that the government, even in times when there is a threat to national security, must act strictly in accordance with the law," she said."

Er, no Cherie, what this makes clear is you don't understand that we are at war and during wartime civil liberties and some laws may be suspended or tough ones enacted temporairily.

Islam - "We Have More Rights Than You Do"

The Adventuress has the story.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Britain - The CIA - Bin Laden Myth

Scott catches London's Mayor, Red Ken, and the BBC spreading more Muslim terrorist propaganda.

Red Ken says:

"And I think the particular problem we have at the moment is that in the 1980s... the Americans recruited and trained Osama Bin Laden, taught him how to kill, to make bombs, and set him off to kill the Russians and drive them out of Afghanistan.

I'm sure bin Laden will be surprised to hear that since he told Robert Fisk in an interview:

Bin Laden says:

"Personally neither I nor my brothers saw evidence of American help."

If a one man blogger know this, why doesn't a billion pound news organization, like the BBC, know it? Or do they?

Britain - Scott Spanks the Guardian

Seems the Guardian has yet to learn the old leason when in a hole, don't dig.

The Guardian's attack on Scott generated a tremendous amount of ammunition for the Guardian's rival newspapers. And as Scott notes, there is a lot more to come.

The Guardian makes the classic mistake of MSM, holding citizen journalists, bloggers, in contempt. They do so at their peril, just ask the Guardian about Scott.

Be sure to read Scott's fisking of the Guardian's attack on him.

Britain - London's Mad Mayor

A lot of people are singing Red Ken's praises for his tough words after the Muslim terrorists attacks on London. How easily they forget. Red Ken's support of terrorists is well documented. Stephen Pollard has a reminder.

But with Mr Livingstone, the words alone are never enough. They may imply one thing, but his actions usually give them a different meaning. When the Mayor of London condemns indiscriminate slaughter, those actions suggest that it is the word “indiscriminate” that needs to be stressed.

Mr Livingstone has repeatedly defended the views of the Muslim cleric Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi and even invited him to City Hall to share his wisdom. Mr Livingstone has proudly hugged him in public. In doing so, the mayor shows himself to be a keen fellow traveller of a man who can be described with some precision as evil.

Al-Qaradawi is a leading member of the Muslim Brotherhood. His fatwas (published on www.IslamOnline.net) influence its millions of followers. In a sermon delivered in March 2003 he instructed his followers thus: “O God, destroy the Zionist, the American, and the British aggressors.” In his weekly al-Jazeera programme he explained that a person engaged in jihad “is not a suicide [bomber]. He kills the enemy while taking self-risk . . . He wants to scare his enemies, and the religious authorities have permitted this.” In an interview last year he said that Islam justifies suicide bombings in Iraq against the US military and in Israel against women and children.

"Over 2,500 Muslim intellectuals from 23 countries have signed a petition..." naming Yusuf Al-Qaradawi as a sheikh of death.

Why?

Last year Qaradawi raised a storm when he issued a fatwa allowing the killing of Israeli pregnant women and their unborn babies on the ground that the babies could grow up to join the Israeli Army.

Red Ken's chickens have come home to roost.

No sooner is Ken done with his snake oil speech to the British public, he comes out with this.

Mr Livingstone, an outspoken critic of Israel and the US-led war in Iraq, has condemned suicide bombing but also claims that some such attacks are natural responses to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory.

Last week he said: "If it had happened here in England, we would have produced a lot of suicide bombers ourselves."

To which Mr. Straw responded with:

Mr Straw described Livingstone's remarks as "unacceptable".

"As far as Mr Livingstone is concerned, let me make it absolutely clear that his remarks were as wrong as they were unacceptable."

"There is no, and there can be no moral equivalent between a lawful political party and its supporters operating in a democracy, Israel, and a terrorist organisation whose so-called political method is the slaughter of innocents."

Strong words Mr. Straw, strong words. Then why is he still in your party?

I'm not familiar with the political process as regards the Mayor of London, but isn't there some way to remove this blight from the city of London?

Iraq - BBC Airs British Ambush

Despite the pleas of the mother of a British soldier and over the objectons of the MOD, the BBC aired a terrorist video showing three British soldiers being blown up.

A mother has condemned the makers of a programme which showed the Iraq suicide attack in which her soldier son died.

A video of the ambush that claimed the lives of Black Watch Private Scott McArdle and his two comrades was broadcast on BBC Two's The New al Qaida on Monday night.

And talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

The shocking footage of the ambush was shown on BBC journalist Peter Taylor's investigation into how terrorists use the internet for propaganda.

Not to mention how they use the BBC for the same purposes.

Sandra McArdle, 43, from Glenrothes, said: "It's disgusting. I saw this footage before on Sky TV but it's just as sickening second time round. The BBC didn't even have the courtesy to call us and let us know it was going to be shown. It brought all the grief of Scott's death flooding back and we found it very distressing and they shouldn't have shown it."

The BBC's excuse?

The BBC said it had toned down the footage and that the programme underlined how such disturbing material was so easily accessible.

Even more so thanks to the BBC.
